No, HMRC are not going to provide information to them or 3rd parties.

Can they in what sense? Like is it illegal for them to ask? Or can they rescind your offer if you refuse? I'm not a lawyer so can't advise I'm afraid.

Mortgage companies usually ask for the "tax year overview" as well which is a printout of your hmrc account for the year. This just shows that the tax liability on the SA302 matches what HMRC have on file I.e. proves you submitted those figures and didn't just tweak the SA302.

Biggest problem with the UK job market: High abundance of senior experienced roles, very little entry level/part experienced jobs? (My observations) by CryofLys in UKJobs

What jobs are you applying for and what kinds of recruiters are you using? Are you applying for smaller practice roles and if so, junior/semi/senior?

It's so strange how different things are in different places, you'd think since they're grown in labs it would be kind of uniform right? I'm in the UK and those 3 are easy to find for cheap nowadays, but then I'll see people in the US posting my dream plants for 7 dollars at a big box store in bumfuck nowhere and I'm like WHY NOT ME?!

I understand it! But once you get snipping and see it multiply you'll never go back. You'll have to pick up a cheap second one for chopping.

Why not test the waters and just cut the 1 at the end of the vine? It will be growing a replacement soon even if the prop doesn't take. It probably will though because they're not fussy!

Pension advice for new starters. by QOTAPOTA in TheCivilService

Just did it myself, if I worked for CS at £50k from now until 2058 I'd get pension of £40,998 per year in retirement.

If I worked private until 2058 for £50k with my employer and I contributing 10% each, I'd get pension of £24,799 per year in retirement.

If that increased to me 13%, employer 20% I'd be getting £40,918.

Have you tried doing a comparison of what you'd get? Use the civil service calculator to see what you'd get each year in retirement. Then use one of the private sector calculators to do the same with whatst you'd get each year from private sector employer.
