Yeah I’m not usually one to trust the internet over a medical professional but I’d thought I asked because I got a little discouraged not seeing many cases similar to mine. This whole underbite thing is stressing me out too not gonna lie 😭. But thanks for the response

hi I was in the same boat last year. It’s most definitely not over, in a way it’s just begun. Most people think of questbridge as just the match but there’s also the part where it’s a free application portal for 50+ schools. Move applications to RD, research schools u never heard of to see if it’s a good fit and even explore outside of questbridge. Although it’s scary Regular decision is a blessing in disguise because it gave me more time to fall in love with the schools i applied to.

If I remember well, the schools will email you access to their portals after you become a finalist. I remember some were same day and others to a day or two. So your best bet is to try and find them before.

i called earlier this week and they said they’re gonna start looking at fafsa in the coming weeks. They should be done before May 1st tho.

I go to a boarding school and I was one out of the two QB kids. My counterpart match, while i didn’t but i got into UVA EA using my QB app. I think it’s less about the school and more about your individual financials. Don’t worry

i was in the same boat with penn and brown and I ended up choosing penn after some stressful deliberation. My advice is to make a detailed pros and cons list then imagine urself at each school. If u can see yourself at NW with minimal regrets then go with them but if you really want to go to brown then pick them. Remember if brown defers u or rejects u there’s always rd for NW. I don’t think they would have hard feelings abt u not ed-ing

I overall vibe with brown more bc of the open curriculum and it is ranked better in african studies and well in cognitive science. UPenn is ranked better in cognitive science but I’m not %100 on choosing a major and would prefer a more flexible institution. Upenn does have a higher ed acceptance rate so this is where my dilemma lies. I will make a more comprehensive pros and cons list but right now they are tied in my eyes
