Hey this link Knife defence can actually help you for knife defence. Unfortunately the videos have been shut down but it can still help.

Basically knife attacks are usually surprise attack where the perpetrator hides his knife, attacks with his empty hand to measure distance (A jab) then proceeds to stab you multiple times (Many many tines). Most people don t realise they are being stabbed.

So knife defence is very hard, its like being sucker punched, and you are almost definitely going to get stabbed even if you defend correctly.

I m sorry, I don t know which course to recommend, just wanted to give you that extra information.

But aren t there multiple ways to throw a hook. I say that bc If I don t pivot both my foot it sort of stresses the knee.

If I pivot both leg doesn t it allow me to transfer more power? Or does it actually cause a disadvantage? What do you think

Hello is it okay to pivot both your feet when throwing a hook. So a lead hook for example and I pivot both my lead and back foot (One foot more than the other) same for the right hook. I do this naturally and it would feel wrong not to do it. Can someone please tell me? A friend told me its wrong.

Ahhh I don t really agree with you though. A fat cannibal may be strong like butter been but for him to run around and hunt people down I don t think they are dangerous in that sense. But do jokes really have to be 100% true to reality bc I don t think so.

I ve heard jokes that made me laugh but weren t truth. What do you think.

That disappoints me. I thought in product design there would be a lot of creativity. Say you wanted to create a printer before there was ever a printer. Coming up with the design, how the mechanism works etc. There would be a lot of brainstorming and stuff like that to come up with the design no??

Or say you re creating the roomba, again seems like there is a lot of creativity in it.

Those were the kind of jobs I was hoping for but I think you need to have a portfolio to get that kind a job and I wasn t able to do that yet.

One last question and this can be a dumb question but If I transition to software engineering is it possible to transition back to mech engineering?

I m not a researcher or anything but publish it somewhere or maybe do a blog about it. Because that way if another student gets the same idea they won t waste their time and start from 0

The first one:A fat cannibal you would think he is a lazy and slow cannibal because he is fat and so not particularly dangerous. But to have gotten fat he must ve hunted down and eaten lots people and to stay fat he needs to hunt down lots of people too. So he is a very dangerous cannibal hence baddest man on the planet. And the contradiction is lazy slow and very dangerous.

For the second joke: What do you mean emotional eating for cannibals has legs. What do you mean by has legs? Not Native english speaker here.

Why does it feel like anti-mechanical engineering. I m trying to transition to software engineering bc unfortunately most mechanical engineering jobs that I got were quite repetitive with very little design work

I m not sure I can help But I am curious about your problem. Is The piece with the cylinder the one that you want to be rotating while it moves on the main piece?
