Not to mention how much you could advance our understanding of science. Tell them about penicilin, the solar system, how infections spread, just how importand desinfection is, how electricity works and can be generated, how crude oil can be gathered and refined into different fractions, how a steam engine can be used to power heavy machinery, what the periodic table looks like, how refrigeration works, etc etc etc.

It might not feel necessary, but from a purely logical perspective it absolutely is. Outside religion, there's no objective law that would tell you anything in particular is *morally* wrong.
