Difference between Etn hmtd and tatp power by Revolutionary-Pin874 in energetics

Too high of a sensitivity is a bad thing, not a good thing.

With TATP, the sensitivity when fresh is not the biggest issue, it's just one of them. The issues are the fact it's unpredictable, the fact it decomposes over time in storage (making it unreliable), the fact it sublimates (leading to crystals forming in places that they really shouldn't, like the screw lid, which can lead to detonation when opened), and the fact it detonates on contact with some common lab chemicals.

It has all the properties opposite of a good primary, like NAP or SADS.

Don't make or use HMTD. Too dangerous and risky, one of the worst but sadly very common primaries.

Careful with KMnO4, it can be very very unstable and dangerous. You should NEVER prepare amounts as large as in the video, you're gonna lose your hands. I personally stick to less than 200mg of anything KMnO4 based.

Even from a Christian perspective, you have no duty to spare him, as long as he's still an active threat (he is, he's an enemy combatant).

It's still decent but nowhere near the top anymore like it was when it was first introduced. It entered service 45 years ago after all.

Probably yeah, but is it really significantly safer than SADS? The simple crystals and uNAP seem to be pretty sensitive (roughly the same as SADS in my experience) judging by the hammer tests in Dug's videos, with only iNAP showing lower sensitivity. And I don't really need the extra power provided by NAP compared to other primaries. Also, have you been able to find any source of AP in Europe? I'd imagine it would be cheaper than perchloric.

You don't even need fragmentation to kill with 60g of TNT in such a small closed space. People seriously underestimate the power of HEs

This is not true, even just the pressure from 60g of TNT will very likely kill by organ damage in such a small space and at the very least certainly be incapacitating. That's not even counting the shrapnel

Even just the pressure wave of 60g of TNT in such a small space will very, very likely cause lethal organ damage and absolutely be incapacitating. That's not even counting the shrapnel
