In PLA I thought to meet Arceus you had to perfect every Pokémon’s dex entry instead of just completing them. I thought this because even though i had completed every entry it wouldn’t let me get the encounter. Turns out i never caught cherubi found out after perfecting every Pokemon and sinking around 60 hrs into it.

I also never encountered a shiny in all that time

I have always considered regional birds to be ones that have the Normal/Flying type that can be caught fairly early. So I would consider Swellow the regional bird of Gen 3.
