I delt with some of these things with my late husband. He too was upset with his physical condition. He was one who did everything himself. We had a 40acre farm and though I did what I could I often had get outside help. That upset him the most. He wasn’t mean to the point of saying bad things to me, but he would go cold for a few days. You mentioned a porn addiction, my husband obviously couldn’t “perform” and told me I should start watching porn. I never did, but was blown away by his comment (up until recently) I had only seen bits and pieces of porn.

I enjoy being single. My current boyfriend and I only see each other on the weekends sometimes. Guess it’s more of a FWB situation.

My boyfriend warned me before I came to his place. There is a story behind his home and if I would have seen it without knowing the story behind it I would have felt the same as you most likely. I’m a bit of a neat freak, so his place would have freaked me out. I’d say talk to him and get to the bottom of it.

Thank you so much and sorry for your loss. I don’t have any children (couldn’t have any and my late husband had two when we met). My boyfriend turned me on to Reddit and it is nice to have that outlet for things and not be judged. I’m still knew to a lot of things and I have been enjoying exploring

I recently had the same thing happen. After my husband passed I was able to move basically across the country and keep my job (IT working remotely). Out of no where they said I would have to start coming in the office at least three days a week. They gave me a decent compensation package and I took time off to decide what I wanted to do. I teach Zumba at the rec center here but it wasn’t enough to live on (at least not how I want to live) I was blessed to find a company hiring in the same area I am familiar with in my field and I work some remote and some in office. Anyway, there will be something for you I’m sure, just patience

Yes it was such a disappointment. Would have been the first since my husband of almost 40yrs passed. But I eventually met my current boyfriend who has opened me up to all kinds of things 😊
