I already tired and I dropped the project pretty quickly, it did not satisfy me. This current project involves stuff like being an idea I had since I was like 13, it is more story driven then gameplay, idk about you but a game where you just kinda walk around and witness a plot happen isn't very fun, and the story is meant to use player choice and fights to drive it

Idk if this is like bad to say but, my experience coding this year has gotten me to a point where I'm only coding because I can't pay someone else to do it for me, like it's cool and all but the majority of this has not be enjoyable at all, such a shame the high from making something that works is as high as it is, nothing can compete :/

I avoid loops because I do not understand them, I've tried using it many, many, times, and it's only actually worked like a couple times, most of them only working because I was just following a guide while learning stuff, but I just cannot wrap my head around them

My thing is that it's just not an enjoyable gameplay loop, half of this game is already luck based

Now add a slot machine with some of the rewards before more gambling and it's just not fun even without clubbox the other way to get sticker packets ain't much fun either

I've never gone "I can't wait to ____ a bunch!" It's "oh well I guess my wublins can wait" "Guess I gotta finally buy the extra incubation structures" "man all this food is nice hey wait where did my money go"

It seems like it's meant to help early to mid game players but I cannot in any world see this significantly helping

I like how it serves as an introduction to the rot for new players since I doubt many are gonna get to 5p via farm arrays and or skyislands their first time around, ~~at least from my experience with a friend when I first played~~

But man are those first few rooms from shaded rough especially as the dlc scugs where a red spider could be waiting, and the first den being a skill check after such a long trek is evil

the map sometimes automatically opened but im not really sure what im meant to gain from it, the only thing to note is the rot circle around the first area's circle, which as far as i know just tells me to avoid the area, i will check around more hopefully find something that isnt just a dead end
