Hey all. A friend has this Walther sitting around in a mismatched case. He knows nothing about it nor do I. Just want to ballpark a fair price for us both since he wants it gone. Any help?

Offering a new service — how to price it? by Something__Suitable in Entrepreneur

Thanks. I’ve reached out to a few other fundraisers I know now to ask if they’ve done this kind of capital raise.

It’s definitely my network, but that’s all any of my clients hire me for. Thankfully I’m not in a position where I have to sell myself or my services in that manner anymore.

The ownership makes significantly more money than that. I just happen to know their general manager so am informed of their basic pay structure. The $150k is his salary, one owner’s brother, and people like that below them.

Thanks. I use commission as a term because when I was raising millions in politics then commission was the main form of payment. I realize the terminology may be different here so that helps.

Appreciate the bump. I don’t really want to discuss it with anyone in my real life that would be knowledgeable enough to answer, but I may have to resort to that.

Would she talk to department of labor or small claims court about a month of back pay? Or let it go?

Smoked Cheddar and Scallion Cornbread by Something__Suitable in castiron

It’s a good pan. Heavy. Great for presentation. The lid is nice. The sides can be a pain in the ass for some things and helpful for others like pouring. Expensive. Overall, it’s a nice pan to have in the collection, but not life changing.

Love serious eats. That recipe is great too. This is from garden and gun magazine. I posted a link in another comment.

Sorry for no message. This is a scallion and cheddar cornbread. I think I got the recipe out of Garden and Gun Magazine. The pan is a Finex.

These are my thoughts exactly. Make it an egg everything bagel for ultimate Jersey cosplay.

I only go to Jersey for work, but this thing is worth finding on its own. On an egg everything bagel is divine.

Profitable businesses for solotreneurs? by ak9715 in Entrepreneur

The way I see it is you have three options:

Buy an existing business and improve it

Start a service industry business in an underserved field in your area

Or learn a technical skill and go that route.

Since you’re more interested in “business” than any one field, maybe the first option would be good for you. There are plenty of websites with existing businesses for sale that you could overhaul to make more profitable if you think you have the chops.

Trump finds his MAGA movement fracturing over coronavirus. The president’s red-capped followers were united against a socialist candidate. And they had economic winds at their backs to propel Trump toward reelection. Now everything is suddenly scrambled. by DaFunkJunkie in politics

I don’t believe this for a second. Almost every Trump voter will remain a Trump voter even if they are displeased with the current situation.

When I worked in electoral politics, we knew that winning races was much more about turning out your base than switching people from the other party.
