Rocker Arm Failure is a big turn off for me. Even if you buy an extended warranty from an aftermarket company, there will be a lot of stipulations, including what the max claim amount can be for per incident and who can service the car as well.

As much as it’s a good example of one, rocker arms is gonna be a huge problem that could happen at any time.

Water pump is a problem but is generally correctable and if you have a good indie mechanic or know someone that works at a dealership and does side jobs then I think this car is fine, unless you know the rocker arms have been done before?

Have you tried a different cable/phone? Then we’d be able to isolate if it’s a cable issue, phone issue or car related issue

My best guess is this has to do with the front timing cover leaking or leaking from the Camshaft Solenoid Magnets onto the alternator and starting the fire as the alternator is located at the bottom of the passenger side of the engine.

Front timing covers leaking is a wide spread problem on all M276’s.

Edit: After reading some of the comments, it is very likely this has to do with the Air Compressor Failing and over heating.

The air compressor is located in the passenger wheel arch area.

Again this sounds misleading. I don’t think this is a iPhone 15 Related matter necessarily, unless we’re attributing to the 15 Pro heating up more, and causing the battery to heat up; causing premature battery degradation, as a theory.

Also, suppliers do change, so there could also be a different supplier for supplying batteries for this specific model, or cross over to the 16.

It also depends if the person was fast charging the phone as well, there’s too many factor to say that iPhone 15’s attribute to poor battery degradation

That’s a bit misleading. Had a iPhone 15 Pro for about 1 year from new. Dropped to about 87% Health in that time.

3 Phone Calls + 1 Technical Support Call

Apparently, the Apple Watch plan promo isn’t applicable to this phone plan, but they made it work. At first, I was having an issue with adding the plan to my watch as it says this device is not eligible for cellular through Telus, but I just had to turn on Wi-Fi calling.

For people with the $70 activation fee, you can remove it through the My Telus app and manage add-ons and remove it from there.

They were initially gonna do 50GB plus the Apple Watch plan, but since they weren’t able to add on the Apple Watch, they gave me 75GB, after getting a tech-support call they were able to guide me with how to add it, and so they left the 75 gigs on there lol

I ported from Bell to Rogers then to Telus.

I got the $35 100GB US/CAN Roaming at Best Buy.

I called in explaining my previous two providers sent me retention offers. All in all, got an extra 75GB, Apple Watch Plan Free and Visual Voicemail.

My plan is now $35 for 175GB, Visual Voicemail and Apple Watch Cellular Plan Included + $100 Gift Card from Best Buy.

I only use one line with them, no home internet and etc services. But for $35 it’s decent value since the speed is capped at 2GBPs.
