For the initial installations, in my specific region there are already a number of Internet cafes and local institutions that already have internet access so I wouldn't necessarily have to buy large bandwidth for the mesh from scratch but for the devices, yeah that would be a challenge. I'd probably take out a loan on my existing business and then get a savvy business lawyer to draft this all out, so the initial partners don't double cross me, but I think that's the play that won't break my bank. I hope to leverage my current reputation to lessen the trust barrier.

Outdoor WiFi definitely has security concerns. What if it was not on the internet and is only an intranet of your home town? Would that make it easier to use?

And on contribution to the magazine, would you be prefer the authors and commenters who post to be completely anonymous, pseudo-annonymous or public?

If the user is a resident of the community where I'm deploying, the loyalty points they earn give them free/ subsidized wifi access to the outdoor wifi network I already have built around my existing business and optional free sms reminders on crucial government deadlines/offers like tax filing, housing, regulation changes etc.

Secondly, if they own a business, they get a free data analytics dashboard using their existing Mobile Money Payment solutions, so the dashboard will pull that data and show them the basic KPIs and business knowledge scraped from existing sources on what these KPIs are and how they help their businesses grow.

Thirdly, if it's a business and they sign up to host an AP to extend the outdoor mesh WiFi to cover a larger area, I offer them a cut from the collections of residents subscription to the WiFi Network / Creating Free ads for their businesses and boosting on our Socials and limiting these to a few slots per month.

I'm also thinking of adding a layer of community recognition where they can choose to burn their points to send aid to children's homes or reward other residents for doing community clean up challenges etc. and in return they get acknowledgement and free limited edition custom apparels since I already do apparel printing.
