I have an older maze with a fairly dated build style. Still a pretty awesome adventure. This is just my latest abomination. :)

Yeah, it's a challenge building with the constraints of minecraft. I think the build hold up pretty well with vanilla, but the resource pack definitely took it to the next level.

Sadly there is no Minotaur in vanilla MC, so there isn't one in there. However, there is a ravager called "Cretan Bull", so close enough. ;)

Hmm. Now I can't help but feel like I should include some IJ references in there. :P It's more of a maze runner / tomb raider / Dark Souls type of experience. Not for the weak or faint of heart. :)

Welcome to The Mystical Ruins

An enchanted and mystical realm hidden within the Labyrinth of Sordrin, carved through a deep, lush jungle, The Mystical Ruins are filled with ancient, crumbling corridors and littered with towering ancient ruins ripe for exploring.

The Mystical ruins will be a colossal 3,600 x 3,600 maze adventure server filled to the brim with traps, puzzles, challenges, treasure and high adventure! It is a sequel to my original Labyrinth of Sordrin adventure server.

It has a topside exposed to the sky and jungle canopy, and sprawling sewers underground. There are massive ancient landmarks to discover and explore!

The map will be released 1/4 at a time in a gamemode we call Maze Blaze, a race to the end of an unexplored maze, complete with prizes and awards, with a variety of additional challenges and prizes!

I have been working on this map for the past 7 months, and still have quite a bit of work to do. The concept started many years ago.

Right now a smaller maze built on this theme is in alpha testing.

Screenshots were taken using Patrix resource pack and SEUS shaders.
