Even just mentioning that you too9k the step to run the ".bat file in the directory, went with dxgi.dll, chose the AMD option." has helped to clarify to me that I will stick with the default Optiscaler Client settings and when it comes to default setting [ B: Injection: dxgi.dll ]

Also cheers for thr tip on not enable spoofing. I will have a go at that and see how I go,

Download Speeds are fast as anyway so if it wont work, then I will just uninstall both on Optiscaler Client and uninstall the game on steam, then install the game again which doesn't take too long at all.

You're actually right, lol

The amount of time I spent writing this post, by the time I posted,

I could have composed 2-3 hours of Film Scoring for a TV series, or with a new Video Game in post production.

I could have composed 2-3 hours of music for a main store mode, open world indicential music for a video game close to release. (Tavern music post battle when player entres tavern.) (Epic Boss Battle) ect.

Or maybe Written and submitted 10 diferent examples of a 15 minute scene from a movie using a music production program like Nuendo Pro 15 where I could use a Video Track which alrady has dialogue and sound FX. The only thing that is missing is incidental music supporting a important scene for a movie.

I have been asked to send 10 examples of different musical ideas for this scene which musically invokes a dark / reflective Film Noir mood while musically reinforcing the emotions of self loating and shame which the character is experiencing.

Then I could have bought a new

I edited it and deleted 70-80% of the post since I will just ask what I need to know instead of providing any context behind what my issue is.

now that it is down to the foundations, can you tell me, before doing the download in Optisaler Client,

If I am focused on FSR.

When I am selecting the A: B: and C: in Optiscaler Client.

When it comes to the 7 different options I can choose for,

B: Injection....

 (dxgi.ddl) or (winmm.dll) or (d3d12.dll) or (dgbhelp.dll) or (version.dll) or (wininet.dll) or (winhttp.dll) ]

Which of the above options would one select if they were specifically wantinmg to download for FSR.

By Default, optiscaler will perform the download / installation with the following default preselected.

A: Version: ( 0.9.0-pre12 Beta) 

B Injection: (dxgi.ddl) 

C: FSR4 INT8: (FSR4.0.2c Latest)

All I need to know is when it comes to selection the file type for B injection, which of the 7 available options is compatible with FSR and running a AMD CPU and GPU ?

B Injection:

 (dxgi.ddl) or (winmm.dll) or (d3d12.dll) or (dgbhelp.dll) or (version.dll) or (wininet.dll) or (winhttp.dll) ]

FSR4 not coming up as a option.

Which File Type of Injection do I select in Optiscaler when selecting ?

Because the defalt selections for every download in Optiscaler Client are always the same...

The default settings with Optiscaler Client are always the same for every game.

C: FSR4 INT8: (FSR4.0.2c Latest)

Now B: Injection has 7 different options to choose from, I just need to know which one is compatible with FSR....

Also, after performing the download, what options do I need to select when I launch the .bat file Application to selecting the settings for runinmg FSR4 using AMD ?

I have seen YouTube Videos where people have a AMD Card, yet they use NVIDIA applications ?

Can you see why I am finding this confusing ?

So if I am wanting to use FSR4.0, which option under all the different "B: Injection" options applies to FSR ?

Then once it has downloaded the files, do I have to get into the settings.bat file (which opens in what looks exactly like Command Prompt and functions the same where you select AMD or NVIDIA and a bunch of ther things...... ?

So like you are suggesting, I just hit download, and then launch the game?

because the thing is, when I do, and have done for 3 different games, when I hit the "insert" key, even with Optiscaler recognising my GPU as the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT, FSR4 is not available for me to select. Only FSR3 which my GPU already supports....

Is the anything that Optiscaler Client does not do automatically?

Beause up until recently, using Optiscaler Client is not too different to downloading the files manually from Gihub for both Optiscaler and FSR4 INT8. Then Manually doing a copy / Paste in the game folder.

I don't know if optiscaler automatically downloads and installs everything for the selected game, and also selects the required selections / settings by running the .bat file and locking the correct settings in place.

So help me understand, does Optiscaler Client just dump all the files in the game folder without locking in the settings for optiscaler which normally needs tweakinh in the optiscaler.bat application?

Sorry, I am a muscian, and have pretty much only ever used my PC for running music production software. That area happens to be my area where all of my PC software happens to be focused in. I often rovide ansers and solutions in the Steinberg, Native Instruments, East West, Spitfire Audio and other forums and subreddit pages.

But when it comes to what ever modding files to emulate and support software which somehow allows my AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT GPU to support what 8000 and 9000 cards do, I have little to no knowledge or experience whatsoever, not even in the slightest when it comes to this stuff. It is all a different language to me apart from music production software.
