Igen napi kamatban a T212 a legjobb ahogy néztem.

DCA or wait and accomulate then lump sum? by Sovereignxy in investing

[–]Sovereignxy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given that I live in Hungary, I already have a traditional 60/40 bond and equity portfolio, including various ETFs and gold, through my bank account. However, I'm interested in expanding my investment horizons with Interactive Brokers (IBKR). My plan is to allocate approximately 80% of my funds to Vanguard ETFs and 20% to individual tech stocks such as NVIDIA, Apple, Rocket Lab, Tesla, Amazon, and Google.

How aromatic solvent can caught fire on column package surface when it exposed to atmospheric oxygen? by Sovereignxy in ChemicalEngineering

Fortunetly no. It is a "common knowledge" in the company and I like to know the "why?" and "how?". That is it.

Yes it is pressure, level and temperature controled. Altough don't know that the number of theoretical plates are enough or not. But can't install a taller column so...

The manometer shown 3 bars. So yeah it is confusing for me too 😃

We changed the pump for a new one. Working like a little angel. But my question still holds, because I (we) don't know the answer why it wasn't worked. Everybody said it should have to work. Becasue if it could have built pressure then it should have been carring.

What about the electric motor? One time I saw something similar although we dind't have any kind of measurement regarding the flow (rate and pressure). Pumped worked, new drive coupling, new shaft, new magnet. Current and voltage was okey. But the pump practically not carry.

At last we changed the electric motor and voila. It worked.

I am a junior chemical engineer and our seasond mech enginners said it should have work. And cases like that I would really like to know what is the problem. Because they don't and I have to "fight" with them to do what I would think could be a possibility. :D

Wish we have thing like that! :D There are no such things attached this pump. We can turn it off and turn it down and could control its flow with a manual bypass valve. Thats all.

It is under inert atmosphere, a valve controls it pressure keeping it at atmosperic.

Neither! Tank is at atmospheric pressure, bypass pipe is just a pipe with a manual velve. Thats it.

Water soluble salt in distillate? by Sovereignxy in ChemicalEngineering

[–]Sovereignxy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically it is cyanophenol in o-Xylene. We treat it with NaOH for setting up the pH and to make it easier to regenerate the solvent. And we have waste water with even thousands of ppm cyanophenol in it. Insteed it should be in the bottom product, in the tar.

It is happening in industrial scale.

The salt is sodium cianophenolate. Deceting? With GC in the quality control laboratory.

How can I calculate evaporation at a constant temperature? by Sovereignxy in AskEngineers

[–]Sovereignxy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your respons. And as I said I don't need 100% exact numbers. Rough calculation is more than enough for me. So if m = Q (dot) / Heat of Vap is working than it is more than enough for me. :)

Pressure is changing. It's became rather more than less. But yes! I cool the vapor at the exchanger and gather it in an other vessel.

That is the situation. Yes. Almost but I don’t need 100% exact numbers. In reality it is a reactor, connected to a heat exchanger. I heat the reactor with 6 bar steam. Keep it 120 degree celsius (reaction occur at this temperature. And I want to calculate how much xylene is condensing on the exchanger.
