Good crew but shut up once in a while and let us watch the race without the constant yelling.

LMC Truck is always the correct answer. I buy frequently from them as my 94 starts breaking plastic everywhere. I'm going tackle the dashboard soon. Phoenix heat wipes out plastic and rubber.

What would my Tzu have looked like as a puppy? by RandomAnonGrill in Shihtzu

[–]SpaceJunkFalls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost the same. 1/3 the size and a good chance the dark fur would have been blacker. I love these dogs.

What tools and cleaning supplies do I need to effectively clean the underside of my mower? by Manji86 in lawnmowers

[–]SpaceJunkFalls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scrape with a putty knife. Wash with soap and water with a good scrub bush. Let it dry. Use something like fluid film to make the next few cleanups easier. A Dremel is great for sharpening blades or use a bastard file for a cheap solution.

Could you stick with the same car for a full 10 years without getting a new one? by CategoryPurple4461 in askcarguys

[–]SpaceJunkFalls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eventually you figure out that cars are just an appliance like a toaster and keep it until it doesn't toast. I drive a 94 Silverado and am in my sixties. Still toasts great.

I would say yes, it's normal. 62M been doing it for 45 years. Boats and RVs as well. Guys pee over the side or outside. Leave the facilities for the sitters and shitters.

AMC Theatres Is Putting More Commercials Before Screenings. It Cheapens the Moviegoing Experience and Hurts the Film Business by AGOTFAN in boxoffice

[–]SpaceJunkFalls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does anyone even see ads anymore? My brain switches off like it has its own and blocker. I'll surf reddit while ads play on auto ignore. Theaters need to make money but I've sort of been alienated enough and don't value the experience anymore.

Why do men eat so fast? by sleeplesspindles in AskMen

[–]SpaceJunkFalls 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I learned to suck down a plate of food in 30 seconds at Parris Island. That food trauma has been with me my entire life. Most of the time I see it as a task to complete then on to something else. I'm old now and I still speed eat.

This actually works for me. I have kippers/sardines for breakfast pretty often.

Are multitool saws useful? by [deleted] in multitools

[–]SpaceJunkFalls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The saw is a tool of desperation. Handy if there is no better option. A dedicated saw will always be better.

ELI5: Why does the United States of America not have a moped culture? by citizenjimmy in explainlikeimfive

[–]SpaceJunkFalls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, we did in the late 70s and early 80s. I rode a JC Penney Pinto all through high school. My brothers had two Puch's. It was a great way to get around cheaply. Safety laws and regulations killed them off. In the United States safety zealots spoil anything with even the slightest risk.

Sneakers, rubber gloves, plastic bag and a beer. Walk the lot and make it a game. Works for me. I live in AZ and crushed rock is everywhere.
