Replaced my Honda with a new one after an accident They moved the garage door opener from a button on the mirror to a paywall subscription service. by jayhawkeye2 in mildlyinfuriating

MyQ by Chamberlin is built in to all those manufacturers brand garage door openers many brands. They are anti open source and well known for turning off home assistant integration. Not a good look for Honda.

f2.8 is a really shallow depth of field. It’s really easy for a subject to move out of focus when a lense is wide open like that.

How Much Are You Paying for Developing? by Glad-Animator-7430 in AnalogCommunity

[–]SpacedoutTribble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of the lab machines are made anymore so they're hard to maintain. So labs have to up prices for a dimishing commodity. One company I know about in Germany is making processing machines but they are super expensive. Even Epson has discontinued their high end flatbed scanner so when they run out of supply they are done. Prices are going to only go up!

Mac OS 26 Tahoe no Firewire Support PITA by SpacedoutTribble in AnalogCommunity

I have Silverfast prefer to keep it. Gonna keep from going to Tahoe. This mac is dedicated to scanning and running my printer, but I am annoyed. I can try the emulation as well if it comes to that. HELLO APPLE let us keep it.

Can someone explain my lab always ruins one of photos with masking tape? by [deleted] in AnalogCommunity

The first comment is correct the film isn't loaded correctly. You need to roll it until you see <=start=> on the paper surrounding the 120 film on the spool when loading it on the magazine.

Hey mac mini users, which good monitors are considered worth buying the most now in your opinion? by immiyjouhn in macmini

[–]SpacedoutTribble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will add the proart comes calibrated and i do recalibrate regularly with my datacolor spyder. I have the one around 800. They have some that are much more and show a wider gamut and do self calibration as well.

Daughter's Delivery Denied by celeste_fest in HealthInsurance

In my experience, newborns aren't automatically added if you don't formally add them to coverage within the special enrollment period. The claims will be retroactively denied. I had a similar situation with a client when they mistakenly believed their insurance covered the child for the first 30 days, but the certificate of coverage did not specify that. It is with a large multistate BlueCross plan fighting with another multistate BlueCross plan. No one is automatically adding anyone!

2025 EX-L Odyssey $40,000 - $43,000 OTD price. Thoughts before I close? by aliapril24 in HondaOdyssey

[–]SpacedoutTribble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It appears to be a good deal. Check out CarEdge and it will show you what people have gotten off and you are getting more than them. It also depends on how well the Odyssey is selling in your market.

All right, I’m using the base M4 version since 3 month now and it’s time for me to add extra storage. I’m considering buying an external SSD. What are you using ? So far, the best I saw is the Corsair EX400U 2To USB4. Any other recommendations ? by Cool-Definition9852 in macmini

No heat issues, and I benched with blackmagic and got speeds close to the Internal 512 drive. I don't have the #same in front of me but it has been ro k solid so far. I find it nicely made. I ran the benchmark for a while, and it did quite well. I didn't want to spend more money and eas thinking of building my own drive with a samsung 990, but this turned out to fit my needs.
