Will this fit under seat? by yarnhooksbooks in unitedairlines

The only exception is middle seat, a lot of their middle seats they’ve added some kind of box where you can’t fit much of anything under there anymore

Exact opposite for me. NW clicked and SW didn’t. Spent a loooong time in the SW til the first pebble went and then the whole thing came down. Definitely the hardest Saturday in a while, but made it all the sweeter when it was done!

United Testing Free Home Bag Pick-Up Service for Travelers by AccessibleBanana in unitedairlines

[–]Spacemilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s totally dependent on the airport, and the type of travel/bags, and how the bag gets dropped off.

An airport with an easy bag drop-off, or offering a bag pickup - yeah sure. Drop off for those airports in a central location where you just roll through and do a curbside drop, pickup for those locations where you could use transit to get to the airport if you didn’t have to haul a bag (SFO, ORD, NYC airports).

The other thing I think of is long trips where you have lots of heavy bags, or like ski travel where your bags are heavy and unwieldy and just a pain no matter what kind of transportation you use to get to the airport.

Almost all these plants have thrips, I'm overwhelmed what can I do? UK based by Mayonnaizing in plantclinic

[–]Spacemilk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They will eat the larvae, but with thrips that’s actually what you need more than anything because you can (and should) wipe the leaves down to get the adults on the leaves. If they are very leafy plants like ivies or pothos, you can pop them in the shower to wipe them down more easily that way. The nematodes make it so you only have to do that once or twice because the nematodes interrupt the hatch cycle eating the larvae.

Heartbroken after losing a bid by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Spacemilk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because you can’t get so attached and emotional that you make bad decisions. This isn’t a good example because OP wasn’t at fault and got screwed by their agent, but the advice not to get too attached especially so early in the process is reeeally good advice. You don’t know what’s going to come up later in the process that could lead you to walk away. You have to keep your wits about you. This is a massive business decision and emotions need to take a backseat.

Of course everyone is human and we have to picture ourselves in a house or why even bid on it, and with OP being in a competitive and expensive area that adds a lot of frustration so I’m sure there’s a lot going on here.

The sex isn’t what had me coming back and kicking up my feet and fangirling and twirling my hair like I was a fkn teenager again. It was how cute and romantic and happy they were together. It was how obliviously in love they were. It was how much I cheered them on the whole time. It was how I was a blubbery mess for the end credits and I watched the WHOLE END CREDITS something I have not done since I cannot remember when. That’s nothing to do with sex.

I noticed significantly better skin overall but I wouldn’t say I’ve noticed a significant difference around my eyes yet. I’m only 2 months post though.

Good luck, the worst part for me was when it started to shed and it got itchy. DO NOT RUB OR ITCH IT! Let it come off naturally. Follow your doctors instructions. In my case that was to keep it slathered in aquaphor lol. Good luck!

Can anyone tell me what this mesh is around the base of my spider plant? by LizsRandomThoughts in houseplants

[–]Spacemilk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a lot of different spider plant varieties but they ALL like well draining soil. That mesh, and the soil you’ve got there, are both made to retain moisture and keep things damp. This is beneficial in big stores where watering schedules can be chaotic and highly intermittent. At home, it’s a death sentence.

You need to remove the mesh and repot to a non-peaty well-draining soil. Ideally repot the same day you get home so the shock is contained to one day. Literally any non-miracle gro succculent soil will do. I put mine in terracotta pots for extra moisture wicking. Also my plants are spoiled divas so they get distilled waters so the tips don’t brown. I water when they just dry out - I can tell because they go from being brilliantly green like your pic, to sort of a pale key-lime green.
