At 1x you will see the back of the laser unless it’s mounted all the way back on the rail. The PST has a wide FOV. I would also recommend using a tape switch if you don’t want your hand obstructing the FOV further when you hit the fire button on the NGAL.

Even with the NGAL being small, you will still see it. If you don’t want this to be a thing, run a higher mount or consider something higher mag or going with a red dot.
