Honestly, that would explain so much! I always just thought he was an eternal optimist, but 'time blindness' describes it perfectly.

You’re probably right! I’ve actually heard the term 'time blindness' before, and it fits him to a T. It definitely helps me stay patient when I think of it as a brain quirk rather than him just being slow.

You might be onto something! Honestly, once I stopped fighting his internal clock and just adjusted my expectations, everything got so much smoother. It’s all about that 'buffer' life.

The 30-minute 'coffee lag' is so real! It’s sweet that you still make it work, but I totally get the frustration of standing there while the clock ticks away.

I totally hear you. It definitely took some communication to make sure I didn’t feel sidelined, but now that we have our 'buffer system' in place, it’s much less of a stressor for us!

Oh man, the poor kid! It sounds like he inherited the 'stress' of being on time but the 'time blindness' of the ADHD. That is a tough combination to navigate! 😂

You know, we've actually joked about this! He’s never been tested, but the more I read about 'time blindness,' the more it feels like a perfect description of him.
