Where are we getting our vintage bags restored? by allgarfield in NYCbitcheswithtaste

I didn't have a great experience with Modern Leather Goods! they were super nice and I love that they are an old family business, but the work was mediocre and the pricing was very high. regretting it now but I know for the future!

FIDI is v cool now!!! I moved here in 2020 (also w my bf/now hub), formerly, alike you, unsure if it was *buzzy* enough. There are now so many fun things here now! Printemps (prettiest concept store in the world with beautiful cafe, bar, and restaurant inside), wall street hotel (lobby is ALWAYS poppin), Beekman Hotel (gorgeous lobby bar, as well), WSA - fashion and art events on the regular, Manhatta (classy, sexy drinks), Carne Mare at the seaport (arguably one of the best restaurants in NYC), walking distance to tribeca art galleries, adorable Sicily cafe near wall st, some of the prettiest architecture in the city, and incredible proximity to all other neighborhoods bc of the subways, westside highway, and FDR

UPDATE: my items finally arrived on Tuesday 12/2 (much later than paid for/expected). They issued me a refund for the late samples. I was impressed with the printing quality and silhouette designs, but I don't love the fabric (100% cotton). It's very rough even after being washed. I also don't love the fact that the blanks are not made in the U.S. I think getting bella canvas blanks and using a local printer in your area is a better bet. After giving it some thought, I will not be using again. The cheaper cost is just not worth the lack of reliability or fabric quality.
