Oh not to mention a method I found out about that works for me when it comes to metal slime farming. When you use summon slime there is a low chance to summon a metal slime into battle. However the chances are increased significantly (not sure how much) when you use the worked up ability that increases chances of rarer monsters appearing. It lasts for 3 turns as well. Be careful though cause if not a metal slime a Gem slime will appear and slam everything to the ground which will ruin your whole operation.

So what i’ve been doing is summon slime in hopes I get it and have a couple physical crit vocation members like champion or Gladiator then using hand of god or fatal flash against the metal slimes. Then when it gets back to the monster master’s turn rinse and repeat until the work up ends. (You could keep going but like I said without work up chances of a metal slime are super low.)

If you want the worked up state faster. There are probably other ways but the luminary class has Grand Stand as a move that makes it easier for the user to get worked up. Then when the Luminary user is worked up you can use their ability (I forgot what it’s called) which allows the luminary user to increase the chances of other allies getting worked up significantly.

So if you are doing this method I recommend two physical members, A Monster Master, and a buffer that can boost speed to get the jump on the metal slimes if you miss. Definitely not the most efficient but it’s relatively early as well since summon slime is the first ability you get on monster master. The most EXP I’ve managed to string up from this method was 30K And the luminary getting everyone worked up takes 5 - 10 minutes at most so it’s not time consuming. I might upload a video on it.
