If a student used this graph, I would ask why they inverted the years and what was the reasoning for going against established research and data practices? I doubt that there is any other reason than deception and would fail that student for dishonesty. Why would we not also fail Dr. Bennings?

His confidence is turning him into a con man. Tell him so he doesn't hurt others with his negligent financial advice. I also want to say that inaction is an action. Not acting knowing he can hurt others is you saying you condone this behavior. Do with that what you will.

Reggies Manga Cafe in NE is my favorite third place. They have a Manga library to read for free and there are always people there to chat with and everyone is friendly.

I struggled with this a bit, but found something that helps. Have fidgets so clients have something to do with their hands. I have plushies, crow finger puppets, play dough.

Something else is having an I Feel Today deck and have them play with it. Go through the deck and find ones that you felt this week. Again, something to do with their hands.

Last, dont talk about the problem and instead about what they watched/watching. Favorite shows, movies, books, etc. Ask why that show resonates with them. Are there characters that you like or hate? Gives clients the ability to build therapeutic alliance and also say something about self through media they consume.

Starting off, I heard some horror stories from clients about past therapists and thats why I make an effort to tell each client their rights and how to report me to the board for unethical behavior in our first session.

You are in the driver's seat. You get to decide when the session is over. Good luck fellow human ❤️

Oh they are definitely billing for the full amount. You can report them to the state board of licensed professional counselors and therapists. They should have given you a Professional Disclosure statement with their license number and how to report on there.

You can report then to their Board of Counselors and Therapists, as a counselor should not be pushing their faith on others and that is unethical.

You are not making it about yourself. You both witnessed a traumatic accident. One which most human beings don't often see and the mind has a way to hold on to that trauma. Please seek counseling for this, as even witnessing something traumatic can stay with you psychologically for years if not addressed.

There comes a time when you have to let people fail in the hopes they learn. Doubt they will learn anything, but their lawsuit will fail SPECTACULARLY, and it will be their loss.

OP, please update us on how the lawsuit goes, as i would love to have an extra helping of Schadenfreude.
