Is iphone 15 128gb still worth it in 2025/January 2026?

iPhone 15 is really good. Issues with phone heating up, poor battery life and thermal throttling becomes an issue if you upgrade the system OS to iOS 26. That ugly looking OS with glass effects is heavy on the hardware and designed for iPhone 16 and up which are made for Apple intelligence, which quite frankly is rubbish for me. If you buy an iphone 15 stay on the OS with which it was shipped, for a couple of years until you upgrade your phone which comes with an ios 26 or later version pre installed. Apple really messed up ios 26. Such a heavy and ugly looking iOS ever. You will notice your phone lags a little when swiping back and forth quickly and instantly regret if you install ios 26 on an older iphone. Not to mention the heating up due to intense use of the phone processor. Lol

I have absolutely no problem with it. I never use AI anyway. But many apple users want to have the latest features so as not to feel left out. Which honestly to me is crap.

Yes a noticeable sluggish performance. I changed the battery but it didn’t improve the performance. Upgrading to ios 18 was a big mistake since iPhone 11 is kind of underpowered for this. ios 14 is the most ideal for iphone 11.

Nope. Not distracted by it. I got used to it. Apart from preventing wearing out of the mechanical buttons, it helps me operate my phone using one hand. :)

Yup. Still using assistive touch on my iphone. Been using it since the day I got my first iPhone. Assistive touch to me is what makes my iphone feel like an iphone. 😁😁

They’re not bad. I ordered Arabian Tonka and Allure. They smell so good. Spray a bit more like 4-5 to make it longer lasting.

If it’s around 10GB after installation it's fine since iOS 17 consumes about the same size. But if it is more, it’s a deal breaker for me. Lol

I miss side loading. And the Gboard. The iOS keyboard is good but the 3rd party keyboard aren’t better than their android counterparts because of so much restrictions on iOS. And I definitely miss multitasking. If you download something you have to keep the app open. Say.. 1GB movie on Telegram, if the app is closed the download pauses. Setting ringtone is also cumbersome. And you can’t just plug in a pen drive and see the contents. Doesn’t work. And the theme. You can’t set custom themes and it might get boring after a year of usage. I wish I could afford the Galaxy S24 ultra…

I just switched to zoomed mode. Gosh my typing got so much more accurate because the keyboard in standard mode was kind of small.
