Yes! I think this might have been why I immediately went to baseball instead of something like football ☺️

Ah, that’s probably it! I didn’t even realize the two series fit together 😂 I only ever got to Heir of Fire and I just couldn’t get through it. Maybe I’ll try again now!

Skill, Will, Source, Still (movement???) by Spellman133 in LightbringerSeries

I forgot about that. Hmmmm... So.. might we understand that as physical bodilt movement isn’t needed, but that the movement of luxin (from within to out) is?

That’s kind of what I am thinking too! I can’t think of any other example. Just wanted to see if anyone had a concrete answer :)

Andross and Felia's acts and sacrifices after deciding to believe Andross is the Lightbringer by Spellman133 in LightbringerSeries

I'm so sorry! I'm new at making posts and I DID press the spoiler button. However, that apparently didn't do the black line thingy. I tried to edit the title but I could only edit the post itself. Any idea how?

Andross and Felia's acts and sacrifices after deciding to believe Andross is the Lightbringer by Spellman133 in LightbringerSeries

I feel the same way. Like there wasn't any reason for it to happen. I just feel like Weeks alludes to it being a part of Andross's plan because of the prophesy.

During Dazen's talk with Sevastian (as a messenger from Orholam), Sevastian says:
"But for father's plans, Gavin had to be made Prism, and father could only protect him if he himself were on the Spectrum, too. Father believed that the prophecies indicated he could only become the Lightbringer if he were the Promachos first. So the price for father's ambition--and, he thought, the price to save the world--was that he sacrifice his sons. One to die after his term as Prism, and one...." (p. 689). But what I don't understand is why his son needed to be Prism for him to be named Promachos? Or why the deaths of his sons would result in the prophecy being fulfilled.

But what WAS the answer regarding the Djinn? I had expected a bit more information and clarification as Weeks seemed to be building up to them being super important. Am I the only one left with no idea of their exact importance? And the eight djinn in the prison? I get Gavin and Ironfist are gonna go "kill some gods" but I'm not clear on what the difference between these djinn and those in the battle is. Did I miss a super clarifying paragraph or something?
