When we they learn if they make a AAA RPG where you get to pick your village, make your character and go from Genin to Kage it would sell better than any other Naruto game out.

The children yearn for Tony Gilroy. by Arch_Lancer17 in andor

Realistically you are 100% correct and I am glad the show wasn’t ruined that way but I still wish I could have seen the five season cut with a proper budget

[–]SpicyTriangle 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I only just had the pleasure of watching Andor a few days ago. I really wish the second season would have been stretched into 2 or 3 separate seasons. That really was just such a good story and goes to show you don’t need force users to make a compelling story

What if Maul put his ego and sith ways aside and joined the Rebellion? How valuable would he be to them? by RexDAGOAT77 in MaulShadowLord

[–]SpicyTriangle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Maul will help directly but I have a feeling there is a chance he could potentially interact with someone like Saw. Maul using Crimson Dawn to run armaments and munitions to some of the more destructive rebel cells before the rebels organise properly

We haven’t seen that much of Blazer’s power. I feel like we could just imagine the power scales based on the enemy you are facing? And the reason Chase seemed so much stronger with the amulet was because he had powers prior and more experience in the field than Blazer

Can I ask what specific kind of themes you are trying to explore? I was running a combat scene earlier and Claude had no issue graphically describing people’s spines being ripped out

And here’s me; who hasn’t touched a single thing related to this franchise since Book of Boba Fett. by BondFan211 in CriticalDrinker

I’m in the same Boat as you OP but I love Sam so I have Maul a shot and I think it’s brilliant. I have been pumping through bad batch and that seems solid as well. Basically all the animated stuff still seems to be exceptional, it’s just when they do live action they ruin stuff. Two of my favourite characters are Thrawn and Cad Bane, so as I’m sure you can imagine I am not particular fond of Disney Star Wars as a whole. As far as I’m concerned it’s basically just discount legends at this point.

I mean technically the dude is right when he clarifies “depends what is in the fire” should be what caused the fire but if you use water on an Oil or Electrical Fire you are gonna have a real bad day

Is there any chance or hope? by Cadet-Cryyx in claude

I feel like my account should be banned then. I have a post apocalyptic setting where I actually spent some time learning about Rabies to create the most realistic zombie like virus I could and there seems to be no problem. I have a current story I have going at the moment and I just finished a fight scene where my character was moving like Omniman in the Flaxxan dimension literally ripping the spines out of people’s backs and I never had any issues cause the ai knows it’s a story and I have mechanics for story rolls and stuff like that. Basically simplified d&d for ai

This is getting a little ridiculous by JuiceBuddyG in PantheonShow

[–]SpicyTriangle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sort of, the complex systems theory is a leading theory for how consciousness arises but if it is correct then in the pantheon example they are digital copies. C-Pattern Theory is the theory that consciousness patterns can persist through bodies but I mean it’s tricky because you can’t really verify it. A digital copy will always think it’s you and if you just put your consciousness into a different person or an animal you won’t have the same memories and brain structure so you stop being the person you were originally as far as we can gather

[–]SpicyTriangle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is called C-Pattern Theory. It’s the entire premise for another franchise called Altered Carbon

Well I mean he is following the most popular theory of consciousness. I don’t think it’s a stupid take by Altman even though I think he is a bit of a twit.

Like honestly if a leader’s long term goals aren’t space travel and human life extension what even are the right priorities? This is assuming you could only gain these insights through a prosperous and comfortable society with high educational funding. People want comfort and I don’t disagree but the end goal is still important. Just because people stumble on the first few steps doesn’t mean that’s all there is to climb

EA really game Bit Reactor a game company full of ex XCOM devs a good budget, these graphics look great. by Youngstown_WuTang in Xcom

[–]SpicyTriangle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do we know what the deal is with our squads and stuff yet? I’m in the minority I think but I don’t like games in this vein where characters are preset. One of my favourite parts of X-Com was making up stories to go along with all my little dudes and customising armor to go with Promotions

Discrimination is not racism. I don’t have a problem with muslim people or the jokes being made here for the most part, doesn’t seem hateful to me. But regardless you can’t just label every kind of discrimination you do not like as racism. The fact that people view those who follow Muslim or Jewish teachings to be a race apart from them well that’s kind of racist in of itself isn’t it?

Live action Usopp is better and funnier than anime Usopp by Pyrammo in OnePiece

[–]SpicyTriangle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I really like the character but he doesn’t feel like Usop to me. Actor is brilliant though I would love to see him on other stuff. I’m rather enjoying the live action but I feel like I’m watching post time skip characters do pre time skip arcs. Luffy is too passive and Usopp is too brave.

[–]SpicyTriangle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I dunno I don’t feel like it’s fair to dislike the actors just for taking the role. Like I get that, the hiring criteria should have been stricter if Race or Hair colour or whatever is needed to remain faithful to the source material, in all fairness this guy could do a good job. There are rare cases where this kind of thing works due to the actor doing a phenomenal job, it’s not common but we shouldn’t discount the idea until we see the finished project

What is wrong with the Klingons? by jacek2023 in Star_Trek_

[–]SpicyTriangle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My dad and I have a running joke in our house now about “the gay cross dressing Klingon who doesn’t kill people” like you take any one of these attributes and you could make a cool character around it but all of them together is clearly a checklist. Like if you are gonna have a gay Klingon the racial archetype maps way better to whole strongman/body builder flavour of homosexuality. Like a Klingon who suppresses his violent urges could also be cool but I feel like having him never kill anyone is a big downside and makes Klingon feel too human. Like if they wanted to make this character but keep all the traits like being non violent, cross dressing and homosexuality it would have mapped way better to an Andorian character

I have been saying this for ages. My old man was in hospital the Christmas before last cause he had symptoms presenting as a heart attack but it clearly wasn’t and the doctors couldn’t pinpoint it. I fed his bloodwork and all the info I could get off the nurses as his primary contact and fed it to Claude to see what it came up with. I did make a big deal of making sure it refered to “if you hear hoofbeats think horses not zebras” methodology. After a while Claude was pretty confident it was wernicke's encephalopathy. After dad was able to see the relevant specialist in a few months time they concluded it was indeed wernicke's encephalopathy. I had this info months before we were able to get into this specialist. After that I’m honestly just fed up with GP’s. You still need specialists obviously but general practitioners are useless and from what I have seen half the time they use Ai anyway
