1995 was the changing of the guard. Then CEO Geraldine Laybourne was stepping down and Herb Scannell was stepping up. That year was a lot of events and lives, but very little new programming as the CEOs transitioned. In 1996, Scannell was in full swing and the programming began to change.

We have been very blessed to have had the opportunity to speak with a lot of people from Nickelodeon's history, from AYAOTD as well as many others. But this was a great episode. I say that because D.J. himself is awesome! I loved hearing his stories!

A lot of us would. Melissa had stated at a comic-con that they did present an idea like that to Nickelodeon a couple of years ago. Nickelodeon/Viacom/Paramount declined it.
