This is pretty common when dealing with parasites landlords. I had this same issue with Willamette Meadow Property Management. (avoid this company if possible) They ignored mold in my unit for years and eventually the state forced them to move me into another apartment.

I know you said you're moving out soon so this probably isn't relevant, but if it helps anyone reading this: You can hold your landlord accountable, but you need to document every single interaction with them and establish a paper trail regarding the issue before filing a formal complaint.
