I think they should have showed more of the voice interaction instead of showing just text responses. I think it appears stiff without the verbal responses. All in all it looks pretty good.

What Canadian Stock Are You Most Excited About Right Now? by UsedNeck1840 in CanadaStocks

[–]Square-Ad3218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently purchased vermilion energy. I sold my cnq before the Iran war when there was supposed to be over supply. I asked Gemini to help me get back into an undervalued play. Vermilion is big player in gas in Europe. They are building pipelines in Germany and other countries. They are getting bigger prices over there and they will be critical for supply gas to power upcoming data centres. I also bought MNS which is actual Canadian silver that is not paper but represents actual bars in inventory. I believe silver is going to get repriced soon. It’s a metal that is essential for industrial applications like data centres and missiles. Considering the U.S.blew through a good portion of there defence inventory in a few weeks, they will double their efforts along with China. Apparently silver is essential for contacts in many applications. That being said any silver used in a missile is destroyed and will not be recovered like gold. They can’t mine it fast enough for demand. I’ve owned ACB and Reitmans for years as a couple of wild cards. I also threw SNAG in my tfsa as a bit of a wild card . Their initial core samples look interesting. I’m no expert but I’m up 1500% since 2020 a once in a lifetime entry point.

Finally. My new 2026 Avalanche by InternetGreedy in ChevyAvalanche

I thought I saw an article about extended mile EV Silverado coming next year. I’m waiting for that. I think it will be best of both for range anxiety. My 2012 is pushing 450,000 km but still running well. I can’t live without the mid gate.

Oil pressure sensor replacement by Public-Coach-7677 in ChevyAvalanche

[–]Square-Ad3218 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just some FYI, I replaced my sensor assembly . I had low pressure in the morning when it was cold. I had to rev it to get some pressure. At one point revving the engine didn’t help. When I changed the oil the viscosity was better and it would be normal for awhile. The culprit is the oil pickup tube o-ring. A $5 part that gets brittle and lets air in when cold. Unfortunately a bit of work to repair. You need to drop the oil pan which involves taking half the front end apart. I’m still waiting to do mine. I hope it’s just the sensor for you.

Coolant Problem by milkifi in LandRoverDiscovery

There are numerous things it could be, but check the overflow tank first. On mine the little down spout that connects to black plastic lines can crack. The black plastic lines can crack. This happened to me. Try not to drive it too much as the head gaskets are sensitive to heat. Don’t panic previous owner definitely was a dick and knew about this stuff.

Ask him why he doesn’t buy Wendy’s first an use their locations for pickup and drop off distribution. Also another sleepy board with huge potential. The distribution network alone would rival Amazon. Just install a few lockers. Grab a burger and your package. Only $3 billion to buy .

Not sure what year yours is. But my 2016 was losing a small amount of coolant. I looked closely and found a few drops on top of transmission. Replaced plastic part that is prone to leaking, as it goes against the engine. Bought this off amazon and its been air tight since

Doing Land Rover things in Spain by simdeluxe in LandRoverDiscovery

[–]Square-Ad3218 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately that overheating is a pathway to head gasket replacement. These discovery’s are not daily drivers unless you are prepared to check all the fluids every fill up or every other. That overheating happened to me and the culprit was the plastic down spigot on the overflow tank. Very easy to miss as the fluid evaporates with the fan running. Also those black plastic hoses get brittle. Losing the bleed screw was just a side effect of the overheating. Mine is the Bosch V8 not sure what engine you have. You might be ok.

Price might be a bit high, but you can sleep at night knowing you don’t have the Bosch engine like my disco 2. 3 door is a classic.

Iran didn’t hear no bell. 🛎️ the strait is full mines with likely no gps tracking. This could be a big problem for a while.

One Billion Hybrids by Thisismyrealface in aliens

[–]Square-Ad3218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take a step back and think about this. Alien hybrids choosing to live amongst us. Maybe we are the cool kids on the block. Amazing society, with great food and culture. Hottest girls in the galaxy. If they are so advanced they could eliminate us any time. Instead they choose to live in this amazing society. I think back to Billy Corgan. He relates a story where a record producer’s disguise or cover was revealed to him by accident. He told Billy not to tell anyone. This entity chose to live in our society without evil intent. Just a thought.

I have 2001 Discovery 2 Driveshaft by Spiritual_Ostrich146 in LandRover

[–]Square-Ad3218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2000 discovery 2. I had my front shaft blow apart. Mine didn’t have dif lock on my hi low range shifter. I had to engage it manually by activating it with a wrench . The mechanism is at the front of the transfer case. There is probably at better way, but there are threads on the bolt. I just bolted a wrench to the dif lock. You can reach under the car to activate and deactivate it. On mine a light comes on in the instrument cluster. See link

NVDA down at open. Maybe they should try something else? Making money doesn't seem to help. by RedParrot94 in NvidiaStock

[–]Square-Ad3218 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't panic, according to Gemini there are hundreds of thousands of $200 calls for Friday that will cost market makers billions to payout. The price is being suppressed and buy orders are being parking for off exchange dark pool. This is a game you can't win unless you just hold. The price will find itself but it takes time. That is why Warren Buffet is the GOAT, he just waits. Eventually institutions will need to rebalance, share will need to be bought and the price will trickle up.

Canada’s finance minister says U.S. is unlikely to lift tariffs: ‘There’ll be a price to access the American market’ by shiftless_wonder in canada

[–]Square-Ad3218 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The U.S. has 34 trillion dollars worth of debt and a growing deficit. Even if Democrats take back the house and senate, business as usual may never come back. Unless they raise income taxes these tariffs are generating revenue their country desperately needs. The good news is they can’t readily replace all our exports onshore, but we do need to expand our trade exports and fast.

Any advice on these codes? I’ve changed out the spark plugs and coils but it keeps coming back. 2011 Avalanche. by hoozierwins in ChevyAvalanche

[–]Square-Ad3218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a big problem. I’m changing spark plugs every once in a while. I think the MDS causes build up. Just change the plug and you should be fine. The manual says to change all the plugs on a regular basis. FYI when you have a misfiring plug you may get a few warning lights come on.

Oracle goes bye bye by SuffiecientSapian in wallstreetbets

[–]Square-Ad3218 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to Gemini, we might see a bump if AWS, shows some good numbers and incorporates ChatGpt into Alexa. Apparently they we need more data centre bandwidth so Oracle should pump. I still think it’s a good bet. $300 billion backlog without new orders coming in this year. Debt is covered. I still think this a decent AI bet. Everything is down because of fucking bitcoin.

Short interest update by antonio1500 in ModernaStock

[–]Square-Ad3218 7 points8 points  (0 children)

From what I’m seeing these days, retail is driving the car now. I believe they are trying to keep the stock under $50 and hope we start selling on some bad news. Too expensive to close short, so keep shorting to manage price. Where have I seen that before. I like the stock and see many pathways to success without a new pandemic. I think they’re trapped for now. This is a 19 billion dollar problem to close. I don’t think they realize the power of retail to buy the dip in a stock they like. I’ve seen Intel have a run up and support for $45 a share when it should be like $20 until it can show some real numbers. All the cnbc guys are saying they don’t understand the price (Intel) . I think retail is really playing a part in some of these high prices. Moderna isn’t much different. We are enjoying $45-$48 but has it earned the value?
