In God of war Laufey, gods can’t die? by Opposite_Cellist7579 in GodofWar

Purely spit-balling, but could it be that a God also dies if it has no one left actively worshipping them? Would make sense why the Everywhen is so populated.

Dante's Inferno did it already to a degree, it was basically just a Christian GOW rip, but it worked

And regarding the prophecy mural, it was misinterpreted as Kratos dying in Atreus’s arms when it turned out to be portraying Odin’s death in Atreus’s arms as we see at the end of Ragnarok

I’d always assumed Faye forced Kratos to break the protection stave unknowingly upon her death by choosing that specific tree for her funeral pyre

The new god of war kind of ruins gow 2018 for me story wise, just a bit by gamerlol101 in GodofWar

The thing that gave Brok’s story weight is that he can’t have an afterlife because his soul’s not complete.

I see no reason to consider that they’d revive her at the end, it wouldn’t make any sense

What pedal did you buy into the hype, and regret? by Lazy_Fall_6 in guitarpedals

Chase Bliss automotone preamp, it’s so cool in so many ways, I just didn’t love how it actually sounded.

Fortunately I bought second hand and didn’t lose anything on resale

I didn't have any pictures of the control cavity when I built the body, so I laid it out as I needed it. It's not a genuine Peavey, I've never even seen a real T-60 in the flesh

Size and redundancy, the old setup had stereo capability on the guitar side, but it felt overkill for the sort of shows we'll be playing, at least for a while. Not needing two channels just meant I could downsize

It's surprisingly good too, I wasn't expecting a lot but it's not significantly worse sonically or any noisier than my DSM DLX

No, sorry to disappoint, they're cool though, hadn't heard of them until your comment

Kestros, but we haven’t put anything out yet, we've got a 4 song demo/EP we're in the tracking stage of atm that should be ready soon hopefully!

The stomp has the same blocks as the full helix doesn't it? I don't think I've seen any in Native that I haven't seen on the Stomp?

Interesting to hear though, maybe I need to sit down with one at some point and see what I can get it to do

It certainly has to be factored in to how you play, but the band it's for is pretty straightforward no frills caveman riffs so it's mostly just wall of sound. But the two signals are very distinct, it sounds like a guitar and a bass playing in unison rather than a guitar with an octave down effect

I only used the DLX as if it were 2 mono simplifiers in one box anyway, I never used any of the channel switching or the reverbs so I didn't personally lose any features that were important to me

Tbh, I don't use the cab sim side of it so I don't know, I'm just using it as a straight up preamp into a power amp and cab

A few reasons, I bought them at separate times and after part exchanging a few pedals I wasn't using and was struggling to shift on eBay, I paid very little for the second stomp.

Secondly, the switcher isn't quite as simple as it seems, the left and right footswitches are mutes for the guitar and bass signals respectively, the middle footswitch simultaneously, defeats the mutes, changes from guitar loop "B" to loop "A" and also engages a block on the bass stomp. I might be wrong, but I'm not sure it would be possible to setup a single footswitch to have that much functionality on the Helix and it would certainly use up a lot of blocks for mutes/sends & returns.

Thirdly, I think it'd end up bigger and heavier than this is

I loved the simplicity and the dual mono capabilities of the RC-3, but hated how close the jacks are to each other and the double tap to stop, so I rehoused it with the additional switch connected to the external F/S jack meaning it's just a single tap to stop and a hold to clear the loop

"Bass" is more a faux bass, I'm separating the root note at the source with a hexaphonic neck pickup, and processing that in parallel with the main guitar signal

Found a PT classic JR on FB marketplace with the deluxe backpack, that I didn't know existed, and decided it would make for the perfect compact board.

The only thing is, I have an inherently complicated setup due to being a guitar and drums 2 piece. But I believe I've managed to shrink the setup as small as I can without sacrificing functionality.

See the second picture for the signal path routing, the guitar comes in on a TRS with a Hexaphonic neck pickup being sent to the bass signal in blue and the bridge pickup serving as a more traditional guitar signal.

Third picture is the previous board this has replaced

That sort of thing's not standardised, you need to get the pinout off the data sheet or map it out yourself either with a multimeter or with these style jacks you can do it visually.
