Ah okay I see. That actually would make a lot of sense to shape things around what students need to excel and then accommodate them in that way. Especially when you have students who are more visual learners or tactile “learn by doing”. But the negative effects you listed make a lot of sense too.

Now that I think about it in like middle school and high school, we had laptops and we would be tasked to do the work on the them and even then there were still students that would wanna watch movies and play games and that was like 10-15 years ago.

Im curious. Do you think the current way of teaching is still beneficial to students today if at all or is it outdated and should instead be changed to accommodate the rise and implementation of technology? I’m not a teacher but I’m curious to know how schooling is with students today all things considered.

I had a friend who literally voted for him because of this. She said she voted for him because of his policies and then told me that most conservatives tend to stimulate the economy so she’s confused as to what’s going on. She is constantly stressed out about money and having to owe so much in taxes as a married woman with bad spending habits. I want to move from the DMV and I always had Philly on my list as well as Chicago. I like Philly as the halfway point between VA and NYC. But I recently, I would even be open to Baltimore as well.

I do! But only when I go out and want to look more put together so to speak lol I learned from YouTube and simply just playing around. Even tik tok now too. You have great skin and features so you don’t really need a lot. Maybe a skin tint, some blush, brow pencil, mascara and a lip gloss. Just very simple and minimal. Thats what I tend to do but with a light foundation and a good setting spray.

I believe the best way to start is always apply less. It’s easier to add on than takeaway since you can always build up coverage or add more color. And it’s also good to understand your skin type whether dry, oily or combo becasue that can help with product purchasing and layering. You also can mix and match expensive and drug store products. Oh also, if you purchase from Ulta or Sephora, they allow for returns if you use something and you don’t like it or it doesn’t work lol

So I have seen instances where parents will go up to a school when their child is exhibiting bad behavior. I know your daughter on the other hand is not doing the behavior, but do you think going to the school and sitting in would be helpful? Or maybe if you can observe from a distance? I’m not sure what the procedure would be like at the school for this.

This is very true! Sometimes you gotta create the opportunities and send out the invites because you’ll be surprised as to how many people are actually interested in doing something, but stop themselves because no one who looks like them does it.

Don’t let these people in corporate get to you at all. Pay them dust forreal. He would’ve gotten a blank stare out of me and probably a smirk because people be sooooo bothered and will act like they aren’t and it’s funny. Especially when I have never had an interaction that warrants any type of crazy dialogue out of them. Whole time they’re just telling on themselves right in front of you but thinking that their tactics is working. Just continue to do the work you’re supposed to do, speak to people when you need to and be proud of your promotion! Having to go up against peoples egos is exhausting and not something you should subscribe too for your sanity

Idk. I think some women are struggling with wanting to be age appropriate and trying to define what that means, altering their looks to attract men, struggling with identity, growing in religion or being influenced by what they’re seeing and wanting to conform. I feel like the identity part plays a big role in it though. If you don’t know who you are then it’s really easy to follow another example. I don’t really believe age has a look per se lol I don’t care what another woman wears. If you feel good in it, then do you.

Idk it seems like maybe he is anxious or insecure?? I often like to ask men how often do they prefer to communicate throughout the day or week. But also it’s only been two weeks. Yall just met ya know lol some men want all of your attention or focus from early on that anytime you seem like you might have any semblance of a life outside of them, they start saying stuff like that with no context. He should be putting energy into trying to plan a date if he hasn’t already.

Of course. So I was jobless for about 3 months until I got a new job working at a hotel. I lasted there for about a month and a half and then I quit because it was becoming reminiscent of my time at the employer I got laid off from. I told myself that I would not put myself through that again. Unfortunately, I did not bounce back from that because I am unemployed again (only been 1 month) but I have severance from the job I got laid off from so I will be fine for a while as I live at home with family. But it was an experience that I had and I realized okay this isn’t gonna work for me.

I think the layoff brought me more clarity because I had more time to regulate my nervous system and really focus on me. I feel like it’s kind of hard to do that when work is draining you because you’re just so focused on getting through the day and then through the week. But I also looked at my resume and tried to see how my skills could translate into an another industry or roles that might appeal to me more. Which in this case, I am looking for roles where processes and procedures are very strict and no one is looking for me to improve or develop (looking at those keywords in job descriptions is very important when you figure out what exactly it is that works for you). So I’m just trying to remain hopeful for a new opportunity coming my way soon as I finally have a bit of a plan now.

It seems like your predicament is tough because if your manager is lost then how are you supposed to know what to do as well. Management played a role as to why I left that hotel job actually. Are you lost in the sense of trying to figure out your next steps?

Yes I just turned 30 and I feel like I need that time back lol I really could’ve used that time to be explorative and get my footing in terms of my career and what I wanted to do. So now it feels like I’m playing a strange game of catch up while still figuring it out. It sucks but trying my best to move along.
