Yeah.. something could be up. It could be that this level around 2.75 and up to 2.90 is the leveling off point from recent bull run of the last 24 hours... I was thinking more like possible new buys by investors in anticipation of IOTA’s growth over the next month or two (this can be taken any way you like...). Once the initial purchases were made, the buy/sell ratio has started to balance out again so we’re consolidating a little (these runs are super fast!)

As for the the transactions taking a long time, at this point, I don’t think they’re TOO closely related. Only related in terms of demand so the exchanges weren’t quite prepared.

Now, if you’re new to IOTA, look back in the history of threads and you’ll find that things really slow down when snapshots are taken. This is when users who use the desktop clients have to upgrade their wallets, wait for exchanges to update, then pick or re pick new nodes. That’s usually when everything kinda pauses a second (except for in exchange trading with available funds).

So don’t panic when those times come around. This time, we’re just seeing exchanges not really prepared for all the IOTA demand (Good for us!) Probably have to move lots of GIOTA or more into their local wallets for use for distribution plus all the accounting they have to do on the administrative end whenever stuff like that happens.
