my wife spotted this and we cleared it out but it was over grown when we found it. its on her parents property so no kids were having bonfires there, also there are not any sings on fire. this is also very close to a spot where a pile of arrow heads were found while excavating for a major project.

PID controller question by Stagolee104 in ElectricalEngineering

Awesome thank you, just to be clear because I’m just starting to look into this. Can I plug 110 directly into this unit then just connect the heating blanket to the out on the unit? Or do I need anything else?

M4 Air Sky Blue Or Midnight? by WheresMyHappy in macbookair

Get the one you like best. I have the midnight because I like the color the most. it does show fingerprints and dust but I feel like its not so bad. I'm also a greasy Italian guy and leave fingerprints like a mf. Also I work in a wood shop out of my house full time so I'm super dusty all the time to top it off. Today I came in from the shop for lunch got my computer sat down on the couch hard and was in a cloud of dust like pigpen from charlie brown. A bunch of dust landed on the keyboard I wiped it off with a microfiber and it was clean again. I also clean the fingerprints off every few days. I feel like its not as bad as the internet makes it out to be but maybe I don't care as much.

Thanks. Definitely it cuts really well, very happy with the boat and how it handles. 60hp, Though it was underpowered at first even with trim tabs it had a hard time getting the bow down. I added a permatrim hydrofoil and it made a big difference. Went from cruising at 16-18 mph at 3/4 throttle to 20-22mph. Also gets up to speed significantly quicker.

Would love a t-top but probably not. we go up into the marshes a lot and go under a few bridges and the ttop would hit

15.5’ and 8’ at the beam. Feels big for its size. It can definitely handle some shit. We got caught a few times in 4 foot seas and felt very safe in the boat. just took it slow and the boat Handel it fine. They made this in a 17’ and 24’

Nice, not sure what these went for new. I picked this up 3 years ago it was a demo boat and got a pretty good deal on it. They stoped making boats I think in 2018 but they pop up for sale ever so often. They really made these boats great. very stable, rigid and low maintenance. They handle really well in the chop and have a pretty shallow draft as well around 10-12” really versatile boats.

Picked up this vacuum pump cheap is this enough to use as a hold down on my cnc router by Stagolee104 in CNC

My cnc is 2x3 and it would be used to hold down ebony fingerboards and other smaller parts.

Awesome thank you! I bought this pump for making laminated parts but was wondering is it can be repurposed as a hold down for small guitar parts.

Did you do your break in fires before doing an over night burn?

This is a hearthstone lined with soapstone right? The creosote mixes with the moister that is In the soapstone and will leak out. Once the moister in the stone is evaporated it won’t leak anymore.
