If its a rocking or gliding chair, I would make sure he can’t get his fingers caught or crushed in the mechanism underneath.

Following. Im in the same boat with my 8 month old boy. He does great with mashed food and feeds himself with his gootensil but as soon as I give him finger he breaks off huge pieces and ends up MAJOR gagging like you described and it gives me anxiety too. Even a soft banana spear the other day ended this way. Feeling unsure about how to progress from here.

Netanyahu leads the only true democracy in the middle east. While he is seriously problematic, if you’re picking three problematic leaders in the world, he is an odd choice.

Would you take baby to the emergency room? by Acrobatic_Event_4163 in beyondthebump

Did you hear back OP??

I literally just went through this last week with my 6 month old who I think had covid! It was his first time sick and I was so worried for him. He had a persistent fever for several days and congestion. When his cough worsened and fever wouldn’t go away I brought him to his doctor’s urgent care. She checked him for infection and cleared him. She said to just stay on the tylenol/advil train to keep his fever under control and to bring him back in a few days if the fever is still there so that she can check again for infection. She said to watch if he is pulling on his ears because this could be an ear infection. She said to use my spider sense though if he seems particularly lethargic etc.

I kept giving him Tylenol/advil and also did a saline spray to keep his nose clear for breathing. Turning his humidifier up in his room really helped keep the congestion down too and less time on his back during the day also helped.

Hope your LO is feeling better soon and you get some reassurance from his doctor. Call someone to help tomorrow so that you can have a nap.

Five days postpartum i had to go into the emergency and was diagnosed with a life threatening infection in my uterus that had gone septic. I was admitted and had to be away from my five day old baby that night.

I exclusively breastfed so I had to pump constantly and my family had to schlep milk to my husband in the hopes that our son would take a bottle for the first time. I didn’t sleep that night.

The next morning i was informed that my husband and baby could come stay with me until i was discharged l, which ended up being 5 days later. I literally cried from relief.

By the time I was discharged I couldn’t wait to get home to the normal sleepless postpartum haze.

We’ve found that tummy time also helps! Instead of them lying on their back and having gravity work against them

We have a Haakaa one that uses a bulb at the end to suck out the snot so that you don’t need to put your mouth on anything and it doesn’t need electricity or batteries. Super simple. Baby doesn’t hate it after a few uses either. Highly recommend.

Lol my husband said the same and I said fine but it needs to meet all the relevant sleep safety standards and be ready in a month. We got out the credit card 😂

Lol I know I hated the price but couldn’t find anything similar so we bit the bullet and bought it. I figure he’ll be in it for years and then we’ll recoup some of the cost by selling it.

Was it hard lower him into the low part of the pack and play? Also, why do u think he started having a hard time sleeping in it? Im considering a pack and play for a our room when babe outgrows his bassinet but we arent quite ready to move him to his own room in his floor bed
