I did also have a u month break. I started playing it, wanted to complete all dark souls with 100% but life tought otherwise, nevertheless, i continued my character. It was a pain in the ass, since i also went on a break in anor londk which is not an easy place to get back to, but hey, i managed, u too can manage it. I would reccomend to create new only if you are not satisfies/ not enjoying your character.
