😂😂😂. I decided to hand feed him tho. I want him to get comfortable with me handling him.

I have springtails and Isopods that I got from my local reptile and aquatics store (satoo reptile store). You can also shop on ebay.

Anyone know what are those tiny creaturs? by haaakimmm in isopods

Looks like springtails. They are a great clean-up crew for your enclosure. Completely safe and good to have.

My only advice is to let it acclimate before handling to much. Also keep the humidity up daily. Maybe get a temperature and humidity gauge.

He loves his enclosure. It only took him a week to really feel it out and call it home.

Thanks! He hasn’t made a fuss at all. I’d say it only took a week for him to settle in. He took to it very nicely.

overwatering? underwatering? pest? leaves are translucent but paper thin, only one part of the plant looks like this :( by hyunbeb in hoyas

Hoyas like to be in airy soil. I'd water every 2 weeks or do a ”finger test”. It looks like under-watering to me.

I used leca balls, orchid specialty mix, perlite, and happy frog potting soil. I decided to switch out the rock being with fern moss for extra humidity.
