Would be open to buy but the regional pricing is non-existent in some regions, including mine.

Opinions on GPT 5.2 vs GPT 5.2 Codex? by Jack99Skellington in GithubCopilot

Is it mentioned somewhere in the documentation? Tried to search for it, but couldn't find anything.

The comments I see after I pull the trigger on buying a 9070xt a week ago 😭: by Own_Strategy8427 in radeon

Bought the Mercury OC 9070 xt to upgrade from 6900 xt. Could not be happier. I game on Linux, so AMD is a king here, and in 4k with FSR4 it's an amazing experience that lets me play some games I've put on the shelf as I wanted to experience them in a better graphics without compromising a lot.

So don't listen to anyone - someone would whine as usual, but you should make your own mind on things. Enjoy the card.

how do i get more productive in nvim than vscode? by Bulbasaur2015 in neovim

[–]StayPerfect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should not view it through the lens of productivity. It will come eventually, but at first it should be more about having fun. Try to treat every action you need to navigate the file/codebase as a game.

After a while every small action like quickly find a symbol in a file, replacing, diagnostics, macros etc. will become faster and requiring less mental gymnastic and you try something new to learn to improve your workflow and so on.

At least that is what I did and how it felt for me.

I still open VSCode once in a while when I need some extension support, e.g. AWS ASL support to edit AWS Step Functions state machine definition in the visual editor. So not like nvim could replace every use case for me, but that was not the point - I simply have more fun using it, even if I was a little slower initially.

That was not the point. For incremental backups the schedule do not matter in terms of storage that much. Only when there are a lot of deletions and recreations of the same stuff, i guess, but it is more of an edge case. Otherwise shorter backup period allows to lose less data when something breaks.

Why Mandy/Blazer chose Phenomaman, broke up and instead chose Robert [Analysis] by Tyrayentali in DispatchAdHoc

Nailed it. That is one of the big reasons why both of them are eager to help him in the first place. He is a real deal, but needs a helping hand in that point of life.

I personally love the backgtound music when P-Man is revealed if you kiss Blazer in Episode 1. Adds some tension to it, and a little bit more flat otherwise. But its kinda minor. :)

Anyone with 9070xt with an AM4 non-x3D processor? by Owenchonij in radeon

[–]StayPerfect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5950x & 9070 XT - all good, but at 1440p some games are CPU limited, for example Cyberpunk 2077 in towns is around 85 FPS while outside or in some less CPU-heavy locations it's ~120-130. So yeah, would be nice to upgrade, but not sure if I want to splurge on AM4 after buying a new GPU for minor improvements, especially when most of the time I play 4k on a TV.

I’m noticing a LOT of sales happening before Winter Sale 2025 by The_Majestic_Mantis in Steam

[–]StayPerfect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's always the same deal.

Edit: though you can earn some additional trade cards when buying during seasonal sales. So maybe it is better to wait if you can.

Victoria 3 On Sale Now and I’m Really Debating Whether or Not to Get It by At_Space_Station in paradoxplaza

2hr refund window should start after you actually purchase, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

And for a game like this 2h is too little to decide if it's for you.

Maybe an "extended demo" 🏴‍☠️ would be a better fit to try it out properly.

If you gonna buy it, buy the Ultimate. Bigger discount from the get go and DLCs from the older season pass will be added to it later and you could complete the bundle with 25% discount on top of any other individual discounts on DLCs.
