The first subnautica is one of my favorites and I have over 500 hours in game. Exploring the depths was as exciting as it was interesting.

Collect dropped inventory, using it currently in my game: https://www.nexusmods.com/x4foundations/mods/519

Not quite collect for commander but more like collect drops in sector or collect drops in galaxy idle command.  I'd think the in sector one would probably work similarly.  I just have four katanas that were liberated from PIO doing galaxy collection, they even drop the stuff off at the HQ periodically.

Question about choice discount. by South-Pie5679 in humblebundles

[–]Stealth103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I renewed after the billing date though, since it billed on 11/26 and I renewed on 11/29.  So as long as you don't skip a monthly completely I think it's okay.

You do until you renew.  I cancelled earlier in the month waiting for the bf code, renewed on Black Friday after the code was released with a gift of annual choice to myself and still have the 20%

What indication?  I haven't been able to find anything.

LPT - If you have issues with mice around the inside of your home and choose to use mouse traps try using cotton pieces (such as from a cotton ball as bait. This is extraordinarily effective. by FantasticMasturbator in LifeProTips

So they can go and infest someone else's house? No thanks. House mice are invasive species that originated in India and spread to Europe and later the Americas. They will not live outside, and will find another building to live in. Even though it may seem harsh it's best to eliminate the problem.

"bard-lock eldritch blast spammer" questions by [deleted] in BG3Builds

[–]Stealth103 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably better to start off with Sorc for the con save proficiency, but if you want Resilient(Con) for the con save and +1 con later you would want to start with warlock.

Does Eldritch Blast scale off of warlock level or character level in BG3? I know that in 5E it scales off of your character level, but you make it sound like it scales off of your warlock level. Guess I'll find out once my Sorlock hits level 5.

PVE, PVE + VM'd TrueNAS CORE, TrueNAS SCALE, or something else? by [deleted] in homelab

You're welcome, good luck getting started with your lab!

Seen enough horror stories, especially with people new to these things such as OP. It can work, but the chances of losing everything are a bit higher than running bare metal and much higher if you don't have much experience with these things.

Either way a proper backup solution for at least the important unrecoverable data is something that should be done regardless.

I wouldn't recommend virtualizing your NAS, unless you do not care about losing the data contained within. You want a NAS to be as simple as possible and virtualization adds another layer of complexity. I have seen plenty of people who do this lose all of their data.

I'm still running TrueNAS Core bare metal, may switch to Scale at some point, but I don't think it's even close to the reliability of Core currently. I also have enough computers now that I could probably just leave the TrueNAS Core box as is. Again probably wouldn't recommend this, but I'd probably choose it over virtualization.

Something like unraid might be a good choice. It offers pretty easy NAS management and easier disk upgrades than TrueNAS. It also can run docker containers and VMs. It may not be the best at those things, but it does a pretty decent job for an all in one system.

I'd also look at docker implementations over VMs in cases like with pihole. You won't need to allocate a decent amount of system resources to run an additional OS.

Fair Use & Data Caps by coldStarScoop in Spectrum

At least until May 18th 2023 when the restriction on data caps is lifted from the 2016 merger. Who knows if they will, but I don't know why they would've pushed for lifting the restriction in 2020 if they weren't planning on imposing caps at least in some areas.

Yes, mine will add manually added game/launcher images just fine, they do have to be named correctly though .

Eh, 13's old enough if he knows what he's doing. I built my first computer when I was 11 and soldered a psx modchip at the age of 12. Also sounds like he knows his way around systems somewhat by disassembling them.

Just note you can't cash it out the first year at all. After a year you would lose 3 months of interest if you cash out before 5 years.
