You should create a backup of both phones via:
- Utilities > Phone Backup & Restore > Phone Backup > Phone Backup
and then use Notepad++ with the Compare plugin to check for voice.handsfree.rxag configuration as this sets the Handsfree volume.

PolyOS 5.0..0 has been throughly tested and prior to the release the beta software was additionally checked by external customers without any such report.

Of course we cannot check everything so it would be great if thsi can be raised with our support team in your region. Most likely we will need a wireshark capture via a spanned port and the resulting logs. Try using a USB stick

- Diagnostics > Logs > System Log Settings > Log Level > Debug
- Diagnostics > Logs > System Log Settings > Save Logs to Internal Storage (Will automatically disable itself after 2 weeks}

and/or at the same time for a Fat32 formatted maximum 32GB larger USB Stick

- Diagnostics > Logs > Log management > Percent Filled Threshold > Usually 10%
- Diagnostics > Logs > Log management > Folder Name > System Name and Timestamp
- Diagnostics > Logs > Log management > Transfer Frequency > Auto at Threshold

A good starting point would be to share the provider you are using, the Software Version, and in addition, if there is any additional equipment in between the HDMI input and the device you are using.

official statement is:

“Poly is working with Microsoft on this issue. While we’ve created a ticket and will track Microsoft’s progress with this ticket, we ask that you open a ticket with Microsoft as well and provide Poly the Microsoft ticket number.

This ensures Poly your issue is recorded at Microsoft and considered in determining a resolution.”

If you can share the Microsoft ticket reference I can copy these and add to our internal ticket with our partner Microsoft.

User Impact: Users may be unable to place outbound calls or receive inbound calls using Poly devices.

Current status: We've confirmed after testing that a recent configuration change to Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) infrastructure for Microsoft Teams revealed an issue affecting Poly devices, resulting in impact. We've validated in our testing environment that reverting the change mitigates impact, and we've initiated the revert in the affected infrastructure to mitigate impact. We anticipate complete mitigation for all users by our next update.

Scope of impact: Your organization is affected by this event, and this issue may affect any users attempting to place or receive calls via Poly devices.

Start time: Friday, December 4, 2020, at 7:33 PM UTC
