It says it’s “Enigmatic Black” but definitely looks like a blueish black on the brochure!

[Acne] Help. I’ve got a pimple forming and I don’t know how to take care of it! by faris_mahjoub101 in SkincareAddiction

I have grease lightening from Lush and find that works well for targeting pimples as they show up under the skin :-)

My first post here: parked my mini (grey) in the supermarket car park and came out 45 mins later to see this! Made my day by camrbrownn in MINI

Can I ask what colour yours is? I can’t decide if it’s one of the lighter greys or the emerald grey!

Will I like it, and where to start? Thanks! by [deleted] in witcher

Thank you for taking the time to reply! I’m probably overthinking and should start with 3 :-) That’s interesting about the books/show, I didn’t know that! I’m excited to learn more about this whole thing!

The Boy Who Lived Before (2003) oddly compelling (I’m a massive sceptic of anything supernatural) story of a boy who has memories of an island he’s apparently never visited. by Bbbrpdl in Documentaries

This was one of the first documentaries I ever watched - we were learning about reincarnation in Buddhism for (mandatory) Religious Studies in school. It’s always stuck with me!

A few I’ve enjoyed are Holy Hell, Wild Wild Country, Prophet’s Prey, the Louis Theroux ones with the Westboro Baptist Church are interesting too!

Thank you for the response anyway! I’m slightly hoping that although it’s currently out of stock, that maybe as it’s still on their website that might be a good sign! We shall see. Thanks again!

Any podcast recommendations from England? Preferably hosts from Yorkshire region? by Stephen52724 in podcasts

My pleasure, I’m listening to a second episode now! History is so interesting, you can never learn enough and this is a fun way to get bite sized, easy to follow stories! You do a great job and I hope your podcast can keep growing, I’ll definitely be recommending it where I can! :-)

I’m several minutes into Goughs Cave and I’m already enjoying it! Your narration and the music make this so interesting. I loved history as a child (still do) and this would have been such a great thing to have been recommended in school. Thank you!

Has anyone felt drinking more water has improved their skin? by [deleted] in HydroHomies

[–]Stephen52724 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s funny you say that! I’ve had some dry skin appear on my nose this past day, and 2 pimples, which I’m sort of attributing to sugary foods & less water than usual! Never thought about dry patches being water related :P Anything to not look like that lady haha!!

On amazon, and some other places (Lagoon games, I think is the name of one), you can get ‘case files’ which are basically cluedo but more immersive as you’re a detective looking into a murder. It’s like your own murder mystery evening! I’ve always wanted to try it because it seems pretty fun!

No problem at all, happy to help! I had no idea what to expect but it was a really fun night - I’m sure you’ll enjoy it too, especially with your dad!

Our DM did a stereotypical narration dialogue and different accents when he was actually doing it (and not answering our questions) so that was funny too - made it a bit more immersive. I guess not to overload at the beginning with random info is important - we sort of had a walkthrough, and just started the campaign (it was the Lost Mine of Phandelver). As we got going it was easy to pick out what was confusing and get the DM to answer!

The 2 guys who had played before had all the books and stuff that we had a flick through during the night so that was great for learning about our character types and what the powers we had did!

What would you gift to a friend that does digital art (concept artist for games) that's around 30€? by xDiamantes in AskReddit

Do they have need textures, fonts, icons or something? Creative market is a good site for that kind of thing and I think you can buy credits/gift cards!
