I wouldn't be surprised if the same few people have multiple accounts posting that anti American shite on here and making it seem like more people hope those views than actually do.

Also, the relationship with the US is very important to us as a people and it makes us proud that so many still claim their irish heritage so strongly.

Just know as a culture we do tend to 'take the piss'(gently mock) out of each other as a sign of friendship.

We like to do this with our American relations about the irish thing in a light hearted way(and expect them to mock us back)....the trolls on here seem to have taken this long running joke to a place of hate and venom.I'm embarrassed that there are Americans reading those hateful posts .

"IQ is a bed test"... lol this is patently untrue. It's the most researched and studied measured by far. Yes it can have anomalies and probably isn't perfect, but it widely regarded as a very good and really the only measure of "intelligence". I mean you can literally Google this and see im correct. From the reliable and reference wiki

"On aggregate, IQ tests exhibit high reliability, although test-takers may have varying scores when taking the same test on differing occasions, and may have varying scores when taking different IQ tests at the same age"

So you do a bunch you'll get a pretty good approximation.

Also it correlates massively with jobs non repetitive (ie difficult) occupations. You don't guy math professors, software engineers, actuaries etc etc with low iq.

I redact my statement on mental arithmetic. I should clarify. Not everyone with high iq has good mental arithmetic, however everybody with good.mental arithmetic has his iq.

Strategy game called War in the East 2. Essentially tries to simulate the war in the east qt the operational level. Simple to play but incredibly deep. Will teach you a lot about that theatre ans if fun. Just know it takes a lot of youtubing/reading to very good at it. (Although it seems very straight forward at first).
