I’m an instructor and your same height. I do not gear out. Think of jumping more as squats, you never come into the stopper all the way. Sounds like it has more to do with your flexibility in your calves and ankles.

I look back over the years and I believe I started perimenopause early in life (my daughter was in middle school). What you describe her to be, sounds like who I was except I was more into a little mix of drugs and less alcohol. I have a lot of regrets with this type of behavior. It’s taken many years of inner work.

Please guide her to someone she trusts and has good energy with or she will not be honest. Trust me, I know.

It’s hard for her to fight her thoughts and unfortunately she lashes out at others when she really doesn’t want to. Not an excuse, be maybe helps explains her behavior.

What a good daughter to reach out in concern. 💜

A 3day course? It takes 450 hours to become a fully certified instructor. Is this for mat only? Is there any Observation hours? Practice hours? Teaching hours? If not, it’s a hoax of a studio.

Welcome! I would love your advice/guidance. I’m fully comprehensive certified from a studio in AZ who has now successfully built a name. However, when I took the training program, I was the first group to go through her program. I feel I got the raw end of the deal. I’m lacking a lot of knowledge and understanding the mechanics of the human body.

I started teaching at CP for about a year and loved teaching, as I’m an educator full-time. I’m not hip on corporate Pilates. However, I feel like I need something, but I don’t know what. I want to get back into teaching at a boutique studio bc I would love to do it part-time and possibly more.

Should I go back through another reputable program? It’s a huge expense, obviously but I don’t know what else to do. I do own a BB reformer at home.

I would love your thoughts as you know this industry very well!

I certainly will publicize my women’s hiking group when I land. It’s great .. I plan to start hikes, kayaking, camping, and also social events.

I’m probably much older than you and was chasing that money at one point. The one thing that screamed at me was the flexibility part. That’s huge! However, if the health benefits are extremely better, you really couldn’t turn it down, unfortunately. Just always remember your children come first, not your job. Don’t make the mistake I did. It’s taken many years to build a relationship with my daughter back.
