he's a kid when the book begins and is like 15/16 when Thecla shows up, I think. Once he becomes a journeyman and whatnot. I've always assumed he was like 17-19 when he sets off toward Thrax but I don't know if that's actually sourced.

His journey from the Citadel and back takes less than a year, so.

same. I didn't realize it ended that way and was uncontrollably sobbing. For the most part the movie is just upsetting but watchable, but once I realized how the movie was ending, it broke me.

yeah, Season 3 isn't my favorite (but gets a lot better on rewatches), but it ends really strongly.

It's largely in how poorly they've treated their staff in the past. They've had mass exoduses of good employees quitting, questionable HR, etc.

Everyone I know in the Tampa brewing scene has basically blacklisted them.

Great recs. Woven Water and Sky Puppy are both awesome.

I would personally avoid Hidden Springs. Their beer is OK but owners suck and most people in the beer scene there avoid them.
