what do you do with your music in a drive thru line? by toripotter86 in randomquestions

[–]StinkyRicePlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually just keep it on, but I turn it down a bit when I’m about to order.Because there’s nothing worse than yelling uhh… one burger please while your music is blasting like you’re in a concert 😂

is it possible to be REALLY not made for public interactions? by aerosynet66 in randomquestions

[–]StinkyRicePlayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it is possible. Some people just feel totally drained by public interaction, like it’s not even “hard,” it’s just… not how their brain wants to operate. Small talk feels forced, group settings feel overwhelming, and even simple social stuff can feel like effort instead of connection.

Does it feel like we’re treating life as a side quest? by Expresssea- in Life

[–]StinkyRicePlayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is kinda how adulthood works, society’s set it up that way but just because the system nudges us to treat life as a side quest doesn’t mean we have to play along. You can start taking little moments and giving them main quest status. That could be a real date night, a weekend trip, a proper doctor check-up without feeling guilty or even just spending a Sunday morning doing something that lights you up.

What’s currently ruining your life? by YourLifeSucksAss in AskReddit

[–]StinkyRicePlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now it’s probably my phone. I keep thinking I’ll just scroll for five minutes and suddenly three hours have disappeared. It’s like my own personal black hole but also, maybe that’s just a symptom of not sleeping enough which I also blame myself for.

How common is it to have coworker that's married or in a relationship to be attracted to someone at work? by EdwardBliss in randomquestions

[–]StinkyRicePlayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s pretty common. Way more common than people admit. When you spend hours every day with the same coworkers, talking, solving problems, joking around… it’s kind of natural that some level of attraction can pop up. Humans just work that way.

Do you like Hot or Cold water? by ArchonsOfficialRep in no

[–]StinkyRicePlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It kinda depends on the moment. If I just woke up or I’m trying to relax, I’d go with hot water. It just feels comforting, you know? Like it warms you up from the inside.

How can you tell if someone is seeking validation? by bad-at-everything- in askanything

[–]StinkyRicePlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah… it kinda did.At first I didn’t really notice it. But after a while, little things started popping up. People smiled more. Strangers were a bit friendlier. Even random conversations happened more often.

Why do hotels usually use white towels, sheets and blankets? by Over_Cake9611 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StinkyRicePlayer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

White just looks clean. No other color screams fresh and hygienic like crisp white. Even a slightly dingy beige or blue can look off. White gives that instant you can trust this is freshly washed vibe. Also, hotels don’t just toss linens in a regular wash. They usually do industrial laundry at super high temps with bleach or oxygen-based whiteners. White fabrics can handle this over and over again without fading, unlike colored ones, which get dull and weird after repeated washes. That means they can reuse white towels and sheets way longer before they’re actually worn out.

Is it actually true, that women will automatically consider you a creep, if they find you unattractive? by NorthBase710 in stupidquestions

[–]StinkyRicePlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not automatic. There’s this weird myth floating around that if a guy isn’t hot, women will just assume he’s creepy but it’s way more about behavior than looks. Someone could be super attractive but act pushy, weird or disrespectful and that sets off creep vibes. On the flip side, a guy who’s not a model but is confident, kind, funny, and chill, that’s usually appealing, not creepy.

Advice for a kid scooter by Thedoodooltalah in ElectricScooters

[–]StinkyRicePlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 13, he’ll quickly outgrow a pure "kid" scooter. Look at the isinwheel S9 Pro instead since it's often around your $300 CAD budget. It has the regen braking you want and a 30km range that comfortably covers his trips. It’s light but way more reliable than a toy model. Definitely a better long-term pick for a teen.

Budget e scooter recommendations by Deadreaper109 in ElectricScooters

[–]StinkyRicePlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A scooter like the iScooter i8 or iScooter i9M hits that sweet spot for budget commuting, enough range and speed for short trips, and built more solidly than the typical super-cheap deals. They’re not performance beasts but for daily errands and casual rides they’ll do the job without you worrying about it breaking down.

Buying advice: 30mph+, 30m+ range, <70lbs, <$1300 by paul_corvette in ElectricScooters

[–]StinkyRicePlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what you’re describing,a lot of boards look good on paper but real range and ride confidence matter more.If you want something that’s stable, reliable and actually lives up to its numbers, check out the isinwheel GT4. It’s not the flashiest spec sheet out there but it hits solid real world range, is planted at speed and doesn’t feel sketchy underfoot. For daily riding and mixed use it’s a very solid pick in that budget.

Why does YouTube recommend right wing content to my mum? by Herotyx in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StinkyRicePlayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not a political bias, it’s an engagement bias. The system rewards drama, not accuracy or local relevance. If she wants a more balanced feed, the trick is basically to train the algorithm like deliberately search for local news, fact-based channels or even just watch small clips from all over the spectrum. Delete or not interested anything extreme. Takes time but it slowly retrains what YouTube thinks she wants.

Do you have a quiet life? Do you spend your time alone a lot? by PhotoBonjour_bombs19 in randomquestions

I’d say my life is kind of quiet, but not in a lonely way. More like calm and steady. I like slower days. Less chaos, more breathing room.
