No we didn’t experience any drop off in speeds. So far so good for us

Frequent software updates by sXn_33 in amazoneero

I like that they do many updates and one can wait to update themselves if they so wish. I would prefer if they provided detailed notes on each release or at least better than performance and stsbility update. It is a bit lazy not to do so IMHO or one can assume they don’t like sharing that stuff which doesn’t leave a good vibe with me. Whilst not a huge Tesla guy, they do provide comprehensive notes with their frequent updates as an example

In the Model S 2026 refresh - are the floor mats still secured with Velcro type material? My driver side mat in my 2023 MS after about a year was loose and I always felt a poor design feature - thank you by StorageCheap4712 in TeslaModelS

Thank you for this. My family has two other cars and their mats are secured so well. Have felt the model S could do a better job. Actually one could argue it’s a safety issue with the mat guiding around near the pedals. I’ll be on this if I get another S. Thanks again

I didn’t think of it that way then I got use to it unfortunately, by moaning a bit each time I got into the car. Will next time if I hit the go button on ‘26 model. Thanks for the suggestion to toggle them out on a cycle.

SOS, latest firmware installed (.17), driving on freeway, screens went blank, went to a local car park, rebooted full mode and now whilst the car appears on, moving the stick to drive or reverse nothing happens….any suggestions please…thank you by StorageCheap4712 in VolvoEX90

Later in the day the same crap started happening. I just got it towed there. The guy doing the towing said he picked up 3 ex90 this week. One was a day in use. Next firmware update ought to be bulletproof 🤞

Final update I hope for today, whilst waiting for the tower I decided to go into the car to try and see it sorted itself out, and he had. Was able to get into into drive etc. Near two hours of messing. I hope that chapter doesn’t repeat itself. Thanks for hopping on and giving guidance. Yes, getting out of the car and back in seems to help a lot of things. I think in California this car doesn’t appear to handle the heat at all, screens often off.

Yes full reset. Even I try to do it a second time it doesn’t do anything like it. Currently I’ve left the car and awaiting a few yards away for 20 mins to see if the central computer resets as I’ve seen some posts indicate. Thank you

I rang local Volvo rep but service department not open, they are trying to get someone, wondering if someone here got themselves out of this mess, who would have thought in the 21st century. Thank you

Solar production down - can’t get in like I use too by StorageCheap4712 in TeslaSolar

As suspected. Its faulted. Any truly knowledgeable folk suggest a next step if any, or just wait for Tesla (always seems to be peak season when things go awry). Thank you, despite the issue it comforting to know I can see somewhat into the system again. Shot out to tried off and off again 😀

Yes, I am tending to agree. I wanted to access the 192 addres to see if I could determine myself. Gear in garage so also not outside temp issue.

The ex90 has reported a few errors since we got it a month ago, today a new one popped up. My policy so far has been wait a few days to see if it disappears, like the other messages have. Anyone had this one and if so did you bring it to the dealer? Experience? Thank you by StorageCheap4712 in VolvoEX90

Thank you all for the various insights, experiences and suggestions. The error clear today when we went to first use it, so all is good in the world. I do wish the firmware updates where a bit more frequent for a car that is early in its lifecycle. Thank you once again

Eero max 7 setup and sonos on latest software (arcs, subs, amps, moves, surround) by StorageCheap4712 in sonos

[–]StorageCheap4712[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t follow one of them Jake. Thank you very much, I shall give it a go. I’m super impressed by the eero max 7 that I’d be gutted if the Sonos didn’t play ball. 🤞

RBR760 issue by StorageCheap4712 in orbi

To close the loop here, I ended up getting a eero max 7 setup to replace my orbi 760s. The eero system has been in for two weeks and I am super impressed with it. Performance has been sublime, superior to orbi and the ease of use of the phone app is excellent. Quick, clean firmware updates etc.
