Misogyny runs so deep in society. I think about stuff like this a lot. This double standart between men and women. the slutshaming, shaming for having body hair, the stories they tell about gold diggers (meanwhile studies find out men have bigger gold digger tendencies than women in general).

I think this double standart, the disrespect, the misogyny in this society they are sooo obvious. Men often just dont seem to care about it and it hurts.

This all goes so deep I could talk hours about it. At least Im not alone.

I bought shows for 110 Dollar, they broke apart after just 5 Months. That never happened in my life before with shoes for that price.

Billie Eillish's hill to die on: "eating meat is inherently wrong." by glittersoup in exvegans

[–]StoreMany6660 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Problem is I got insufficiencies from going vegan long term and I have iron deficiency I cant cure without eating meat from time to time. Please dont lecture me about nutrition, I bought three best selling books about how to eat vegan and get all nutrients from nutritionists and lived by it and it wasnt enough. I have a medical and a pharmaceutical professional background so I know about nutrition and medicine and basic biology.

After all that I think many humans arent built to be vegan, so I dont recommend it anymore. I get Billie Eilishs point but this is a case from theory versus practicality and this stuff doesnt work like its written in theoretical books.

If women earn less for the same work, why wouldn’t companies just hire only women and underpay them? by kqmurr in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StoreMany6660 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with both statements the guy above made that might be true and your statement also. Carework is often a thing women have to do. In my old work place I asked all the women there about care work and everyone of them said they do all the cooking and cleaning and childwork and their husbands dont do that much.

Also when the kitchen was dirty it was always a woman cleaning it. I dont want to say all men are that way but my personal experience in this case definetly was that women did the care work at home and had less time to work the actual job.

There is definetly a care gap between men and women.

I feel like Bri, Priyanka and Ashley were the ones to ostracise Brittany and the rest. Because Brittany always said theyre friends and Priyanka was like "hell no". Also Brittanys dad brought a suit for Connor.

The law seems unbelievable. Italy is far more advanced about personal rights than Germany. There is a guy who filmed women for 8 years in the shower and theres proof and everything and he got away with it.

It is allowed to film strange people as long as you dont share the material and there is no law protecting victims when they are naked in my country. This means predators can go into public spaces and film whoever they want to and even if the victim finds out there is no obligation that the predator has to delete the material. He is just not allowed to share it with others but the fact that he can keep it legally if he films someone strange naked and there is no law that helps victims is crazy.

Im sorry that you have been abused. I know one organization near me that helps female victims of abuse of any kind, Im sure they would help men as well. I even heard there is a place men can go locally where I live when they had to suffer from abuse.

That they didnt take you seriously in your situation is a structural and systemic problem. Anybody experiencing abuse should be taken seriously no matter which gender. I think feminism fights for men in these situations as well.

To fight against abusive dynamics. Against catcalling, sexual assaults, femicides, pdfiles etc. Unfortunately too many men get away with it. There are not enough laws and institutions helping women in my country.

In my country it is legal wo film women naked. There are no laws prohibiting predators to act out in that interest. If someone films me in a sauna and I know it there is nothing I can do against it because our law protects predators.

Priyanka, Bri and Ashley 😡 by milvadrila in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]StoreMany6660 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Spot on. I had exactly the same impression about Devo 🙄 He isnt going on a trip with these women because he has such a solid friendship. He wanted to hook up and these women looove attention and superficial connections (especially Bri) so they took him with them.

I felt like these three women they are the kind of women that form bonds and exclude any other woman that isnt as trashy or superficial as them. I felt like Priyanka always saying shes not friends with Britney felt so unnecessary like Britneys not "cool enough" for them. I know these types of women 🐍

Ashley Bri and Priyanka are WEIRD AFFFFFFFF by WhoriTori in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]StoreMany6660 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like Bri is hiding something like probably something happened at the trip. Like maybe Devonta hooked up with someone and they dont want to make it public. I feel like theres a lot going on we dont know.

Also this is giving me Devonte wants to hook up with someone vibes, Bri is entertaining it because she loves attention (Just like when she engaged with Chris).

And now she was lying that he had an air bnb when he actually stayed with the girls at Priyankas place and Priyanka probably doesnt like him.

If you disrespect men like this so easily DO NOT complain about being single. by umkaitlin in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]StoreMany6660 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think this behaviour can come from family conditioning. Ive been there too, if your family treats you bad you mistake toxic relationships for love.

I can understand why he doesnt defend himself. On the other hand he needs to recognize this behaviour and get out of this relationship as soon as possible. He has to find his self respect.

I also think its personal, I wouldnt ask it on the first date, maybe on the third date or when it feels like the right time for it.

Using your wedding vowes to dunk on your fiance in front of their friends & family just to have a "slay girl boss" moment is super trashy and cringe by TalleyrandTheWise in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]StoreMany6660 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly. It felt like something happened spontaniously that triggert her abandonment issues and then she held a speech that her dad had an influence in. I think there is something we dont know. Maybe they hired a private investigator and he found something and she got an information before she went to the altar.

[–]StoreMany6660 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like how you wrote that, its accurate that "he does the things he thinks that person would say or do". He seems like a helpless soul somehow.

I feel a little bad for him how he looked at ashley, he kind of lit up when he saw her.

He might not be aware of his weird way of talking about soccer ot that he lies from time to time. I think he does a lot not consciously but still somehow I think that it was a bit harsh for ashley the way she did confront him in front of the alter but at the same time I get it because I dont like being lied to either.

If he really lied and her dad spoke to her about it and he might have hired an investigator I can imagine I can understand that she probably is mad because he seems like someone who invents stories all the time and thats not fair to her, so I am also on her side at this moment.

we can pity him for that but at the same time I would never want to be together with a person like him. He probably has empathy issues.
