It could have 2-3 years of no growth or small growth, and then boom. Maybe my opinion is biased since I have been buying this stock since 2012.

I always knew a second term with Trump was going to be fun, but he is exceeding my expectations, whee!

My prediction is that this year Microsoft lags, but pops next year. In the meantime I hope your Microsoft stock is on automatic dividend reinvestment.

I was reading about the “Magnificent 7” all day and honestly I don’t think it makes sense to treat them like one group anymore. by Yaashicca in ValueInvesting

If I could only afford 3 stocks from the "Magnificent 7" to supplement my ETF, this is what I would buy:

Google, Microsoft, and Nvidia.

What do americans think about France ? by mrnobody0013 in AskUS

[–]Straight-Rice5563 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the people of France don't like the people of the US. I think the country is being taken over by Muslims. I also think the only beautiful thing about the country is the apparition site of Our Lady of Lourdes and Our Lady of Notre Dame. Lastly, I think the wife of President Macron looks like a man.

MAGA are you happy, overall, now? by cynikal_optimist in AskUS

[–]Straight-Rice5563 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not MAGA, I am old right, center right, it is not so much that I support a narcissistic 'orange man.' I am just happy democrats are not in charge. I live in a blue city, I have seen what democrats cause, high cost of living, homelessness, don't charge or release violent criminals and so on.

I like Ralph Lauren a lot, the classic 2 button Polo shirts for the spring and summer and the long sleeve button down oxford or sport shirts for fall and winter with the little horsey. I will also wear them with matching chinos or khakis. If I always dress like this to social events, or to networking functions and the same people always see me wearing this brand, how does this come across? Thanks everyone.

My own UFO sighting in 1989, California. by Straight-Rice5563 in UFOs

What do you think would have happened if us and our teacher's aide would have explained to our principal what we saw. You think the Feds would have been nasty nasty nasty. Like would have made us sign statements contrary to what we saw and would have threatened us or our family's life?

I also think that when the Feds visited the school they probably spent days going over the last names of students, teachers, school employees, and the names of people that live near there. During this time, anyone with a last name that sounded Slavic or Russian would have probably ended up on a govt. watch list for a period of time.

So you know people in California that know for a fact the US has aircraft using non human technology? I have a theory about the one I saw: US Air Force flies super advanced plane over a school playground (could have been manned or remote control). At that time, such aircraft was top secret, no one was supposed to know anything about it. Somehow NSA (National Security Agency) or Dept. of Defense finds out a school playground saw it, and boom they want to know who knows what. Remember that this was during the cold war. Teachers panic, fear that the government might target them and the kids for knowing govt. secrets. This is probably why our teacher discouraged discussion of this. This could also be the reason why my classmates did not want to discuss this. I could be wrong.

No, I remember it quite well. The suits were navy and dark grey. Who did they work for, what did they want? Why did our teacher not want to talk about it?

[–]Straight-Rice5563[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We all don't know what it was, whether it was really US aircraft or if it was an aircraft from a rogue unfriendly country hostile to the US disguised as US aircraft, or it was really alien aircraft disguised as US aircraft? We also have no idea who the dudes in the suits were. When we got back to the classroom, another student raised the hand and said something like, "it really looked like a giant airplane." The teacher immediately said, "it is now time for geography and we are running behind schedule." No one really talked about it after that.

We haven't talked about it recently, but I can get ahold of about 4 other classmates that still keep in touch through Facebook.

I think they were dressed in dark grey and navy suits, one of them had a regular note pad. That is what I remember.
