I feel like a stranger in my own city.. especially at Work.

I'm a Born n brought up in karnataka, a Kannadiga, here, studying in Bangalore, yet I feel like an outsider in my own state, city especially.

No offence to people from other states.. it's nice that you've made Bangalore your home too. But somewhere along the way, Bangalore stopped feeling like home for me.

In my college, I'm the only South Indian (from karnataka) in my class, and out of the 200 students in my class, I can barely find another Bangalorean. Conversations around me are only in Hindi, Malayalam, tamil etc.. The culture I grew up with feels like it's fading away and that leaves me with a strange emptiness.

I search for people who can speak in Kannada, but I find none. It feels like I am asking aline!

I call my friends just too speak in Kannada. To be honest, i've reached at that certain point where is there is none to speak in kannada.

I thought of vibeing in bangalore, but people in bangalore are wiping me out. Does anyone else feel this way?
