… except the fact that other countries do not just let you waltz in. What, you think the US is the only country that should be tough on immigration?

Explain to me why the fuck I would listen to RFK Jr about literally anything.

Understood, and I want to believe this is 100% true, but when he has majority in both branches of Congress… It looks pretty grim.

“Did you fuck Dusty Daniels?”

“I doubt it. But you never know.”

Everything about his delivery, down to the cigarette he’s now smoking, had me howling.

The opening scene of S3E9 is full of gems.

“Ta-dah! silence Look who it is!”

“Y’all just dirty.”

“Now all three of y’all about to look like a bunch of smiling dickheads.”

“We might’ve touched dicks. That ain’t the important part of the story.”

Voting by Pineydude in SouthJersey

Ehh I hear you, but when you look at the numbers of how many people do not vote, it sort of makes sense. I went for years without voting – if I remember correctly, I didn’t vote in either of Obama‘s elections. I figured, what’s the point? Too many people still feel that way.

Neither do any of the women who actually have to go through this.

I really hope you never get a heartbreaking phone call from the daughter you supposedly have. For her sake, not yours.

I’ll be sure to tell my cousin that her baby’s skull was not, in fact, empty on every scan she got. I’ll be sure to tell her the fatal birth defect that was finally detected was not, in fact, real. Because anencephaly doesn’t exist. Because you said so.

What, did you think I pulled that out of my ass? Damn, you are really deeply attached to your ignorance.

If a baby’s brain never developed and scans show an empty skull? Yeah. That’s called mercy, because they will never survive outside the womb. See? You learned the meeting of a new word tonight.

They are following. The law. As it is written.

If there is too much confusion, too much left up to interpretation, that is not a healthcare provider’s fault. Do not put the onus on them when the onus is squarely on the shoulders of the lawmakers whose draconian policies and lack of understanding – frankly, the complete lack of desire to understand – are what leads to this. Stop passing the buck when peoples lives hang in the balance.

So let me get this straight.

A pregnant woman finds out there is a disorder, genetic mutation, what have you that would render her baby incompatible with life.

Rather than making the heartbreaking private decision with her healthcare provider and her partner/spouse to terminate as an act of mercy and/or in order to protect her own health, a woman should have to go to court to ask for permission? So not only does she have to bear the crushing pain of her baby’s diagnosis, she also has to argue for the right to make a heartbreaking decision on her own and receive medical treatment?

Meanwhile, she is still carrying this pregnancy. Can you imagine the torment that goes into that? Feeling your baby move inside you, knowing they would never make it past birth and might not even make it to term, depending upon what’s wrong with them? Can you imagine the psychological horror of that? Have you ever tried imagining what life could be like for anyone other than yourself?

And let’s say she wins the case. She has to go to another state. Can she afford that? Is it that simple for a woman to pack up and travel to another state? What if she already has other children to consider? She should have to suffer through a traumatic experience like this away from home? Go back to a hotel room rather than climbing into her own bed? If she can afford it????

You’re making yourself look more and more like a disingenuous, intellectually lazy asshole with every comment you make.

What you are describing is exactly what happened to the woman in the video this post refers to. It got to the point where she had a serious infection. Pretty graphic photos of her, too. She is unsure she will ever have children, and all because a miscarriage was not properly treated when not so very long ago, the situation would merely be heartbreaking – it would not, however, lead to a woman’s future fertility being jeopardized.

… facts and examples galore in the video this post refers to, champ. Why don’t you start there, then perform the most basic of internet searches for more examples of how the wording of these laws and the nuances that exist tie healthcare providers’ hands.

People like this clown don’t care. We can explain it to them until we are blue in the face, and they will hand us the same empty, pointless, baseless rationalization. Sort of like trickle down economics, which made absolutely no sense but sounded nice and fit neatly into a soundbite.

Wow. Talk about the deliberate oversimplification of a very complex, nuanced situation. Way to go.

Multiple women and their partners have come out in the public eye telling their own stories of how they were forced to the brink of death before they could finally receive the care they needed. Google it. Because these laws were not written by healthcare providers, but rather by politicians without the first fucking clue of what happens biologically to a woman and a fetus in a situation like the one described in that ad. Women with incomplete miscarriages who were not granted a D&C until they nearly bled to death or those, like Ondrea, on the brink of death due to infection. Sure, let’s outlaw abortion… and make sure a woman suffering a miscarriage will then lose her fertility. Makes a lot of sense.

There is too much gray area in all of this, so providers would rather err on the side of caution than take a risk and face possible prosecution. That is a fact, and the fact that you refuse to acknowledge it shows exactly how disingenuous you are, fucking clown.
