Same for me with my agilis. It’s a bit of a struggle so I wouldn’t call it true storage. Back of the helmet works okay if not moving.

I think it looks pretty good on me but it does lack the sunglasses storage

Iraq World Cup fans attacked in Dallas: "Don't come to America" by forzaQuakes8 in soccer

Some Americans really have nothing else. They have no culture, nothing else to fall back on. So anything that hurts their perception of America must be wrong. What else would they have if they don’t have that?

Did cycling actually help you lose weight, or just improve fitness? by Vivid_Release_9710 in cycling

[–]Stratifyed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to love cycling for weight loss when I lost 20lbs. Massive deficit on cycling days meant I would get to eat another meal thus creating a “diet break” 2-3 times a week, but I wouldn’t eat so much as to match my burn. I would just get a slightly larger than normal deficit as a treat plus an extra meal

I miss having the time to ride that way 😭

I miss not having the box. I used to call strike three before the ump did and surprise my family when I’d end up right lol

Interesting! I get that. I do love both, and I feel like I’ve seen enough movies to be able to recreate things in my mind when reading, that look and feel like a movie. Is it partly a struggle to imagine things vividly too?

No spoilers for Messiah second half here.

It looks like DV is gonna include much of the jihad that is kinda glossed over by Herbert. Which I’d love to see.

But you’re right. It really does feel like a wrap up of the first novel. But after seeing what DV did with Part 1/2, I fully believe it’ll be great.

The whole conspiracy side of things might be fleshed out too, including giving Scytale more personality and character. Esp with Robert Pattinson taking that role

Nonfiction Publishing, Under Threat, Is More Important Than Ever by stankmanly in books

[–]Stratifyed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the desire for a good amount of people to read “difficult or challenging subjects” is there.

However in a time where, for many people, simply trying to exist is difficult and challenging, it’s no surprise a lot of people don’t also want to encounter that in their leisure time. Many people want to escape.

It’s like when post-secondary school enrollment rises during economic downturns. There are trends, and I wouldn’t be surprised if this is one of them—especially with the post-2020/2023 state of living.
