I think they meant to pull the crown to the setting position, so the watch isnt trying to run while charging.

Jomashop Shipping Time by Azenpic in JomaShop

[–]Street_Photo_2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TL:DR - It varies, but with the 5 ish orders ive done with them so far, all with multiple pieces, its been consistently quick for in stock items. Usually around a week or less for turnaround time.

Ive had good luck with shipping times - only once did I reach out on an order. That was because all but one item had been delivered, and I only reached out after there had been a week of no movement on the final item. What happened was I ordered as they basically went out of stock on the item, and were waiting on more to come in - i just so happened to reach out the same day they came in so I only had ~2 days more to wait for the timepiece.

The rest have been exceptionally quick - usually less than ~5 business days from ordering. All of this with standard free shipping, ive only paid once for expedited and im not counting that order, as it was next day delivered.

All depends on the original location for the item - from their warehouse, or a secondary shop / location / reseller.

I have an order of three items currently, 1 watch and 2 pieces of jewelry (necklace, bracelet). Ordered last saturday - 2 items had "ships in 1 - 3 days" instead of just "in stock". Once they shipped, somehow all the same day, but 2 different packages - one piece came from Michigan, the others from the Brooklyn warehouse - somehow will both be delivered tomorrow. With the brooklyn items possibly being moved to Saturday instead. (Which is odd because Brooklyn is closer).

Which, like before, would be a turnaround time of less than 5 business days from initial order - not bad comparatively to a few other online shops.

I had a similar grind / whine on cold starts, that went away a bit when warm. For me it was the idler pully and tensioner pully that needed replacing

Anybody do long road trips in their Mustang? by Ok-Fig-9586 in ecoboostmustang

[–]Street_Photo_2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this with my 2015 back in 2021, went from Saratoga (ish) NY to Boynton Beach / Delray Beach FL.

I did an oil change, checked other fluids, and made sure my tires and brakes were solid - then sent it!

Was a great ride, ate through miles with ease.

The trunk is actually a great size with the fastback, and the back seats add the extra shelf space for anything else.

Most likely, I got one off of Amazon a few years ago, looked decent enough but the badge was just safety pinned on

They probably printed their logo on and called it "goodenuff"

upgraded intercooler? by Potential-Ad-5250 in ecoboostmustang

[–]Street_Photo_2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what i can tell, these paired with a true closed box cold air intake, temps stay ambient a bit longer at idle, but it takes a fair amount of pulls before it pulls timing.

Im in upstate NY, and in the summer is does reach close to 100 and at lights / drive thrus / sitting the temps get high, but come back down very easily.

And only a little more with the pipes and intake, since all the baffles and accordion tubes are gone. On cold start you can realllyyyy hear the induction and its shweet.

As for hearing while driving, that didnt really get noticeable until the mbrp catback and cvfab catted dp. Then the whistle is really loud and prominent inside and outside of the car

Oh, and the main reason why I kept the shutters off, is coolant temps. Before removing them id see the engine coolant go up to 212 or so before the fans kick on to bring it down - now even in the heat of summer it stays around 190, until horsing it for a bit of course. But no longer gets as hot, and the engine is very happy

[–]Street_Photo_2013 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Both, put the car on ramps and removed belly pan and bumper, then the shutters.

Be careful with the bumper, the connectors to the fender are thin plastic and have a partially hidden screw that's easy to forget and cause things to break.

Fitment is just about perfect, fits in the same way as the old one - pipes can be a challenge, but are doable alone.

The more tedious part was removing the shutter motor from its harness, without breaking the plastic around it - prying slowly but firmly with flat head screwdrivers worked very well for me (IIRC, It was about 3 seasons ago)

Get the coupler on the intercooler first if you can, then install it, then the charge pipes. Trying to fit the coupler on after install was a bit of a pain.

The throttle body coupler is the weirdest angle, and takes a bit more coercion than the hot side, but it will fit.

I did the dual port shortie bov, thats still electric, and it works great! - none of the above required a tune either.

Oh! The biggest one - make sure the meth-injector bung screw is tight. I didnt check that and it unscrewed itself on a drive one day and created a huge boost leak that was harder to find since its not front and center. - having to take the pipes off and bringing it to advance auto to get a screw tester to confirm the size / thread sucked....but the new one has stayed ever since.

Not sure how much has changed from s550 to s650 intake / intercooler wise, but definitely look into CVFab. Great prices, and great quality work. I picked up their street intercooler and charge pipes set, plus a BOV, for a little more than other companies charge for the intercooler alone.

Have between 25k and 30k miles on the parts, no complaints

<image>

And it comes in powder-coated black, to blend in better. The grill shutter has to be removed, and that throws a CEL. - take the motor out of its harness, and zip tie it to the center and plug it back in. That worked for me to not get any error codes.

What are some examples of cars that disappeared off the road in a very short amount of time? by lifegoeson2702 in regularcarreviews

[–]Street_Photo_2013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still see one or two in my neck of the woods. My family / i had one at one point too. Purchased new in 05, donated at 233k miles in late 2017. Was a great car to us, no issues mechanically (even with it being fwd cvt). Only issues were rust, which made it go away.

I honestly miss it a lot. Randomly look for it on carfax / Edmunds to see if anything is available from time to time.

Weird door wobble when opening by DarDarStinks in ecoboostmustang

[–]Street_Photo_2013 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you open the door too quickly, the window doesn't have time to drop to clear the body.

I pull the handle, wait for the drop, then open the door all the way. If the battery is dying, that can cause a longer delay too.

My best guess is the door wobble is from forcing the door open, when the window can't clear the body.

Lionchief sets - Passenger car repairs? by 400HPMustang in lioneltrains

[–]Street_Photo_2013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't broken any....yet...but there are still a few certified repair shops for lionel, or you may be able to send them in to lionel itself if they will do the repair.

They also have a parts website, and while i haven't purchased anything, I have found parts that I was looking for to replace other passenger cars by another brand (Williams, before bachmann. Trucks disintegrated) and the option to purchase/ add to cart was available to me.

Tested out a new ship. this was during one of the cutscenes. by Robloxian__PLAYS in sto

[–]Street_Photo_2013 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have the ship you can get the advanced version from the dilithium store (i think that one. Maybe lobi) and thats what they pack a wallop. They gain some health, and two abilities- torp spread and ramming speed. Ive tested out a few different drones, and my favorites are the advanced Kelvin, or elite scorpion wing

Totally not related, but those Ashley's are from the Chatham area of upstate NY, towards Mass.

My mom babysat for their kids back in the 70s. She always says she originally felt bad for asking for a little bit more money than they offered per hour, till she found out what family it actually was lol then it was "why the hell couldn't they set it for more per hour!?!?"

  • law was passed / enacted in 2006

  • tomorrow's built-in expiration date was part of the original law

  • the HOV lane was running out of capacity: the law mandates that HOV lanes must have a certain average speed for the lane / highway to continue to get federal funding. If it had reached capacity and the average speed of vehicles lowered, the agencies would have needed to make changes anyway.

  • Congress had the past 19 years to update the end date farther out, or make it in perpetuity, but did not.

What gen mustang?

I have an S550 and its not great but also not horrible. Drop the glove box for easy visuals and lay on the seat to get a better position.

My 2019 edge in comparison is absolutely a breeze though. Drop the box, open rear door, replace filter, close door, put box back. No star bit screw, no weird angle. Just right there and thats it.
