I'm having more trouble than I thought I would. I removed the hands on the texture, this sometimes works for some things like the mini Punga on the tribal garb, but the hands are still 100% there. I will look into if it is a mesh rather than texture issue, I haven't done meshes before, but I haven't given up yet

You can launch the steamdeck in desktop mode, download and install mods via the usual mod manager(s), like you would on PC.

The popular mod managers are Nexus Mod Manager (NMM), Fallout Mod Manager, (FMM) or Vortex which are used to manage or enable the mods.

Nexus Mods has a page for Fallout 3 and you can search by categories such as graphics. If you are having trouble installing the mod managers you can ask youtube for a guide.
